Well, Most people assumed his been dead all these years. So I guess that's where the surprise is from.

Why would they assume that ? Piccolo heavily stated that he was alive when they wished for Cell's victims,Krillin wished for both his and 18's bombs to be removed and we literally see him in the buu saga.

Same reason why people think that Toriyama stole the idea of 17 being a park ranger from Teamfourstar.

Why does Goku turn SSB so damn often? It'd be more aesthetically pleasing if he used something like, say, Super Saiyan 3 once in a while. It would offer more variety and it would convey the same damn thing. Krillin's way weaker than Goku; it doesn't matter whether he's SS3 or SSB. Is animating Blue easier or something?

Actaully it doesn't, the whole point of Goku going SSGSS was to show Krillin what it is like facing that kind of pressure and to see Krillin's response to such pressure "what will you do now Krillin", plus Krillin knows Goku has SSGSS so going 3 would not have had the same effect, and then you saw how much Krillin was shaking after. The point of Goku's spar with Krillin was not to showcase how weak Krillin was, the ToP is a real thing with tremendously powerful foes.

Goku does turn SSB quite often, I wonder why..
That makes me question why he didn't transform to blue against gohan

It was a wholly different scenario, he is recruiting Krillin for a life and death tournament and needed to test his resolve, Gohan was just a friendly sparring match.

I wonder if we will see the other Universes fight each other. I would hate it if they did all off screen since it would be too lazy if you ask me.

The universes seem to be making a plan to gang up on U7 based on the preview for the next episode. I could see a scenario where the battle initially is something like Universes 7, 6 and 10 vs the other ones, which would allow them to show pretty much every fight on screen.

The universes seem to be making a plan to gang up on U7 based on the preview for the next episode. I could see a scenario where the battle initially is something like Universes 7, 6 and 10 vs the other ones, which would allow them to show pretty much every fight on screen.

I can see Everyone ganging up on U7. U6 will probably get a whiff of this and step in to help them. This would also set the stage for Jiren to show just how strong he is by taking out Hit.

Watch him be stupid strong for no reason.

He is an Android though. That was super strong before without any sort of training, it has literally been years since we saw him.

It funny that after what we got with Freeza in RoF, people think it's reasonable to think everyone could get stupidly strong off-screen with little effort.

...but generally in Z people didn't comeback significantly stronger unless the actually had some kind of motivation. Goku and Piccolo were gone for years before Z and they weren't magnitudes of power stronger...

Sadly I think we should realize that Super do not follow the same logic we had in Z.

Another scenario is a wild animal attacks Goku and 17 saves him from it.

Are you kidding? Why would Goku need 17's help? Why would Goku need anyone's help? He would just blast the animal away

Sadly I think we should realize that Super do not follow the same logic we had in Z.

By the time Goten and Trunks turned SS, for instance, people should've realized Z wasn't following Z's so-called logic anymore. Or maybe even earlier, when an Earth scientist managed to come up with androids stronger than the emperor of the universe and Super Saiyans?

It doesn't make much sense, 17 was artificially modified and freeza was a natural born, 17 wasn't stupid storng when he was not modified, even if he does improve he will still have the human body to improve, which dosen't get stupidly strong at all..

I know we can force it to work by saying his modifications help him surpass his human training earning limits but until that's stated it dosen't fit well with him getting stonger than even buu who has trained a lot himself
