How is that arrogant? You're acting ridiculouspenguintruth wrote:That's typical American arrogance.LeprikanGT wrote:In America, Faulconer IS the music of DBZ.
I've got the season sets and I've listened to ALL three tracks.
I know about all three, and I prefer the American voises AND the American music.
They should add it in, if this is to be the BEST out there; so it covers all the bases.

You're displaying typical sub fan arrogance.

Yamcha: Do you remember the spell to release him - do you know all the words?
Bulma: Of course! I'm not gonna pull a Frieza and screw it up!
Master Roshi: Bulma, I think Frieza failed because he wore too many clothes!

Because, this isn't aimed at you!LeprikanGT wrote:This is America. [For me]
Answer me this...Why would they NOT add a feature that would add to more sales?
It's aimed at the Hardcore(i.e Japanese version fans).
It's evident when the have the Original Japanese version With subtitles
as the default setting.

I really don't see which part of that made me sound arrogant.
@Cash - So you are saying because I like the American version BETTER that I'm not a hardcore fan? Thats quite incorrect.
EDIT: And most of you are saying the JP version is better, like its some sort of 100% proven fact. Its an opinion. Some like one, some like the other.

We all are just defending WHICH version we like better, lets put that aside and go back to my original question...
Why would Funimation NOT include the soundtrack that they themselves added to the show since the beginning of them puttin out the DVDS? Especially when the Faulconer track would add sales to the DBox.

Because, there is no score for episode 1 through sixty-something.LeprikanGT wrote:We all are just defending WHICH version we like better, lets put that aside and go back to my original question...

It'd be more convenient for them just to use the original Japanese score.

Um...Nathan Johnson did the score for the first 67 episodes. I think his score is crap, but I've noticed that most Ocean Dub fans like it because it's similar to score for that, so they might as well put it there as well.CashmanX wrote:Because, there is no score for episode 1 through sixty-something.LeprikanGT wrote:We all are just defending WHICH version we like better, lets put that aside and go back to my original question...

But it's still being released in North America.CashmanX wrote:LeprikanGT wrote:I just dont see a marketing standpoint for not including it.
This is not aimed at dub fans!
Ugh, all of this arguing is getting really redundant. We should all (including me) just shut the fuck up until we get more info

Of course it is, that's why they're using SHARP CARTOONY BLUE FONTS! And HARDCORE YELLOW, because YELLOW IS HARDCORE, and is also why the set.... starts up... in.... Japanese.... BECAUSE IT'S HARDCORE! BAWBAHBAAAOW, that's a guitar noise by the way.CashmanX wrote:LeprikanGT wrote:I just dont see a marketing standpoint for not including it.

Stop putting words in my mouth....LeprikanGT wrote:Half of my point is people like Cash are trying to throw it out there that the Japanses version is better, and they aer WRONG...because the term 'better' is an opinion.
Just because you happen to like the dub and grew up with it doesnt NOT make you a hardcore fan.

Grew up with it? That's irrelevant.LeprikanGT wrote:Half of my point is people like Cash are trying to throw it out there that the Japanses version is better, and they aer WRONG...because the term 'better' is an opinion.

You don't see the folks who grew up watching the Ocean dub clamoring for Funimation to include the Saban soundtrack.
I loved the Ocean voices (well, some of them), but that music wasn't DBZ's music.

You can like or dislike the original soundtrack, that's fine. Nobody is forcing you to like anything. But like it or not, it's the real soundtrack of Dragon Ball Z, not Faulconer's replacement music. Faulconer's music is not part of the Toei anime series, Dragon Ball Z.LeprikanGT wrote:Aside from growing up with either one; EVERYONE seems to be saying that just b/c someone does NOT like the JP track, they are not true fans, and thats incorrect.
