Naruto is the #2 most popular on-going Shonen manga in Japan. One Piece is of course #1, and Toriko is #3.
James Teal (Animerica 1996) wrote:When you think about it, there are a number of similarities between the Chinese-inspired Son Goku and that most American of superhero icons, Superman. Both are aliens sent to Earth shortly after birth to escape the destruction of their homeworlds; both possess super-strength, flight, super-speed, heightened senses and the ability to cast energy blasts. But the crucial difference between them lies not only in how they view the world, but in how the world views them.

Superman is, and always has been, a symbol for truth, justice, and upstanding moral fortitude–a role model and leader as much as a fighter. The more down-to-earth Goku has no illusions about being responsible for maintaining social order, or for setting some kind of moral example for the entire world. Goku is simply a martial artist who’s devoted his life toward perfecting his fighting skills and other abilities. Though never shy about risking his life to save either one person or the entire world, he just doesn’t believe that the balance of the world rests in any way on his shoulders, and he has no need to shape any part of it in his image. Goku is an idealist, and believes that there is some good in everyone, but he is unconcerned with the big picture of the world…unless it has to do with some kind of fight. Politics, society, law and order don’t have much bearing on his life, but he’s a man who knows right from wrong.

It's not the person that's terrible at it, the gameplay is flawed.

This game's off the pre-order list. Congrats Namco Bandai, you screwed up again.

Well, I posted this in the ZBR thread, but here are my Three cents:
I wonder why the spend years on Battle of Z when Zenkai battle looks like it's both faster and has more moves than the BoZ...

In my opinion the worst models would go to Raging Blast 2. I cant stand how bright they are and how they look like shiny plastic.
The best models are from this game
Those are sprites and in that game they look horrible, try Shin Butouden.

There are games which originally were on the arcade machines and then ported/developed for the home consoles so in a way they're inferior, this one's definitely the case of being a step-down from Zenkai Battle Royale.

It's hard to trust Namco Bandai any more these days. I'll just use the money for Sonic Lost World because that game's going to be worth getting day-1.

I mean now a days. Old school games arcade versions are better IMO. But now days most of the time it's the home consoles that's better. I would rather a Zenkai Battle Royal port. Hell I'll take a Dragon Ball Heroes based game

You think we haven't been trying to look forward to it? So far there's not a whole lot to look forward to based on that gameplay.

Anyone rather just have Zenkai Battle Royale ported instead? It looks better than this game.

I don't know. Both games don't look highly entertaining from a gameplay perspective. I'd honestly rather have BoZ.

I have no idea how Zenkai Battle Royal plays in comparison and it was designed with the arcade in mind. So, honestly I really wouldn't. Would I like to play it, sure but I can't get excited over a port. I'd rather see something built from the ground up.
...Wait what are you doing? Are you still reading this? I finished what I had to say, why don't you move on to the next post?

Zenkai Battle Royal was built from the ground up when made for the arcade.

He obviously means something new instead of just porting an older game.

DBZ is starting look like every time they make something from the ground up it turns it bad more times then good versus updating older games.

Better camera and more DBZ feeling.

It's unbelievable how this game has been in production since 2011 and it's still a pile of garbage (looking at the recent gameplay footage) not even Spike games are this bad. I used to support this game thinking it was going to be a home console version of Zenkai Battle Royale obviously that was an illusion.

Namco Bandai just needs to port Tenkaichi Tag Team as a downloadable arcade game on XBL/PSN because judging by the gameplay of both, TTT's better for sure, but I doubt that NB will do this.

Gameplay - BoZ Vs. TTT:
