Which they never will be, when they don't have relevant roles in the first place.

They had the buu saga, they had GT and they had bio broly. they just don't stick.


Roshi was irrelevant in z but he never really lost popularity.

Anything Saiyan is going to Goku, Vegeta and new Saiyans so Trunks and Goten are essentially finished.

They don't really bring anything to story either and there are currently way more popular characters then these 2.

Someone like Roshi is different to other characters so it makes sense to use him for variety.

Trunks and Goten will have their time.

Right now it’s still about Goku and Vegeta.

I get what you're saying but since Frieza loathes Saiyans, it hardly matters. He obeyed an order, but it was still an order he very well relished going through with.

Nishii Terumi tweeted a photo of Nagamine Tatsuya and Yama'uchi Shigeyasu hanging out. It'll be interesting to see if Yama'uchi winds up storyboarding a piece of the film or is asked to do something for the franchise. Yama'uchi directed many episodes of Dragon Ball Z (including Episode #279) and directed Movies #11, #13, #15 and #17, while serving as supervisor for #12, #14, and #16.

Now that we know that Broly is actually in the film, I imagine Yamauchi is helping out in some way since he’s familiar with the character.

He may have given Nagamine some advice regarding the storyboarding of Broly's fights, but that's as much as he could have done... I think.

It's the Dragon Ball Tour at San Diego Comic Con. They're going to reveal a trailer there on the 19th.

Awesome. Hopefully a theater near me will have it. They didn't for BoG and RoF and as much as I love DB I'm not driving over a hundred miles to watch a movie.

I probably should've worded it better. I came from Geekdom's videos, in which he said dub screenings is for sure, but he's unsure on sub screenings.

Ok. FUNimation has done sub and dub screenings for other anime so hopefully here too. I imagine they aren't doing it for the Broly/Fusion movies and Bardock because the Japanese audio they have is such poor quality. So I'm hopeful we'll get it for this new one.
