I guess. But still I think they may expand to more than just those characters. At least do a Prince Vegeta in royal attire at that scale, and the Kid Trunks too. After that, then I'd call it a day.

HMMM, I don't know... I need more photos or perhaps brighter light. To make my final decision!

Probably is the lighting and the angle the picture was taken at. The figure of Trunks looks a lot more impressive in the first picture... In the 2nd picture the colors look a lot darker. I don't think the angle the picture was taken at helps the looks either.

For the first release the paint and everything were spot on.
For the second, the shading and paint were a tad flawed but still ok.
But for release 3 the figures seem off to me , I'm seeing a general decline in quality so hopefully this isn't widespread.
Yeah, exactly. Is it just this (DX) line specifically or are the mini LoS figures slightly declining in quality also? I don't have them, but since you brought up the point, I am a little curious. I honestly am very excited about these two figures in particular, and I hope they do look better in real life.
Oh and, if this is clogging up the thread, I think it would be better to move it to Mike's toy releases thread.
Well, in mini LoS the super saiyans have red shading in their hair. It looks pretty bad except on Vegeta, where it is strangely absent, and thus he has the best hair...I guess it's just the way they shade, but on DX it looks pretty bad.

Mine don't have that. And it adds a nice touch to the DX figures in my opinion. But it's super apparent on the newest release, I just want more photos!

The listing is a couple weeks old, but I will probably give the seller a call later today. 10$ is a steal.

If anyone sees
Any of the Legend of Saiyan line going cheapish
Or any other Banpresto DBZ figure :)

If anyone has a cooler steelbook dvd that wants to sell it (prefer new but used is fine) when/if the dragon box movies comes out contact me :)

I saw there was some question as to how the Legend of Saiyan DX III will look. I admit that some of the pics look a little strange, but Trunks looks awesome in the pic posted by Raithos. Here's a very similar picture of SSJ Vegeta looking equally impressive.

I finally got my Saiyan Legend figures!

Put then next to the Figuarts for a size comparison. As you can see, they're really cool but really tiny. So if you like your figures 6 inches or higher you may want to reconsider buying them.

Excellent catch Saiyaman, the Saiyan Legend set is a must have regardless of it's size. It's a solid set.
I gave in and just ordered Los 3 of HLJ, I'll definitely be buying 2 sets anyway so I went ahead and selected fed ex shipping just for kicks.
