I like the designs of the space poachers but the lore, my god the lore! They are asking in 17 after years of training is strong enough to tackle these space poarchers. Wouldn't that make them far stronger than Final Form Frieza? Especially when we we found out the universe has 28 planets with intelligent life: I'll wait for the episode obviously but these guys giving 17 a hard time or even worse SSB Goku is going to make this insane. Please just let them be from another universe is all I ask. Then we can at least hand wave it away.

I doubt they'll actually give them a hard time. If they do, then I'll definitely be upset.

You will be upset becuase you think 17 has got crazy strong when nothing has said how strong. They said Krillin got stronger but he is still nowhere near Goku.

I dont actually mind 17 getting stronger, he was strong to begin with, even stronger than final form Freeza, what pisses me off is 17 having a face like this -_- while having a fist clash with SSJB with a serious roar face, even Beerus clashing with Goku never gave a dull expression like that, I just hope they have a good reason for it or that scene isnt what it seems to be, like its a cut from somewhere in between. I know they want to make the participants look strong so they're delivering hype at the expense of making Goku look weak but cmon. Tho heck I'll just go with what my head is saying that Goku is pulling a Beerus character at them, making them look strong boosting their confidence so he's purposely fcking around

Doubt it, I feel they're just using that as an excuse early on to justify Roshi joining in, at the end of the day it will still be about who is more powerful, tactics and brains can only get you so far in a ring full of powerful beings out of your league unless ofc hax is involved, at least they all know mafuuba, Roshi,Tien and Piccolo so that can help them against foe's close to their levels, but when characters like Jiren, Hit, Toppo pops up then they're fucked, at best they'll fight against characters close to their levels. Do not use Krillin as a good example, he got lucky because Gohan wasnt taking him seriously and Goku was testing him out, in the tourny no one will do something as stupid as that especially if they know the stakes.

Opinions aren't right or wrong, it's all subjective. By the same token, it's also no one's business to decide for everyone else what is good or bad when they aren't even in a position to contribute with something to the actual show.

Oh, don't take me wrong, i wasn't exactly agreeing with his opinion, but with what he said about the fact that you can dislike one aspect of a show and criticize it without that said thing ruining your experience.
Then as in the following post the user (just forgot who wrote it) said (sarcastically) that it's really difficult to just drop the show, i responded that i didn't see the point as this did't look like a particular case of "hater hates super, hater keeps watching super".

Lol it has not been the Goku and Vegeta show since that arc started.

Vegeta has barely done anything or has been important 25 episodes so far(It's been 25 episodes since that arc ended and Vegeta has pretty much done nothing since that.), that's like almost a half year of episodes of not being important.

I think they will do fine against 90% of opponents. Piccolo is in a different tier to Roshi and Tien. The fact that there is 80 strong people in the ring at the samr time going nuts means that power, skill and strategy allean the dame to me.

Look at it like this, if Goku has a 2 vs 1 against Toppo and Jiren then Goku is finished simple as that. If you are not smart during this tournament you will be finished.

Another example is if Goku faces Hit at the start and if he manages to win he will be extremely tired and someone like Cabba will easily be able to take him out in an instance. The opposite is true for Hit as if he is extremely tired then Krillin will be able to finish him off.

Every fighter needs to know when to engage in a fight and when to run, Goku included. If he beats Jiren then he should just stick to weaker opponents while the less tired people take on the more powerful guys.

Roshi is as important as Goku in this tournament for this reason. Also this is why people like Tien should do good as they will only engage in fights they know they can win.
Also the reason why Trunks and Goten are not included.

Finally, after taining everyone shoupd really expect Goku, Vegeta, Piccolo Buu and Gohan to be able to beat anyone and if Tien beats Hit I will be ok with it as there are so many variables involved.

It is just annoying now as they just keep repeating themselves and fail to realise that there are other characters as well.

Your last point won't happen becuase of your first sentence. He is not a Future Trunks and will not be put in front of Gohan and Piccolo or shouldn't be. Bringing 17 out of nowhere to be very important in the biggest arc is madness when there is nothing special about him throughout the franchise.
