And where else are people going to waste hours complaining about people criticizing the series just because they want things to be better?Baggie_Saiyan wrote:Telling someone who hates the series to drop it? That is crazy talk! No one has the balls to actually drop it, where else are people going to waste hours on end moaning about this and that?
Really? Toriyama had stated that Freeza was a mutant with untapped potential yes, but I don't remember him saying the same thing about 17 though.kinisking wrote:The difference here is that Yamcha has a defined precedent for his potential unlike Freeza and 17. Yamcha having a bs powerup will mess with actual Canon instead of headcanon.
So by your logic as we've seen Krillin train, we also have a precedent for his potential so he shouldn't be able to touch Gohan or Goku no matter how both were holding back on him, right?kinisking wrote:We've seen Yamcha train. We have precedent for his potential.
I don't know, I thought 17 was pretty cool back in the Android arc, felt sad that after being absorbed by Cell he was revived but to never be useful in the series again, GT did a good job with him IMO (Of course the execution could be better), but I feel like they're pushing a lot these days, I never saw him like a that popular character.Beyond wrote:17 getting so much hype you'd think he was F.T/Gohan level popular. Who at Toei is a 17 fanboy cause they either overdoing it or 17 about to put in some of the finest work in this arc.
