Ah, yes!

I forgot that, although, I included B's 1990 OVA because I was thinking of the Dragon Box treatment, forgot it was already released in English. :P

Anywho, I really hope they improve this DBZ Kinect game to its full potential!

I will be disappointed if this game does not have dance mode like Star Wars Kinect.

Severely disappointed in what this is turning out to be.

I wonder what's going on through Namdai's heads by putting this on peripheral hardware that the vast majority of the Japanese population don't own. Hell, I hardly know anyone who owns a Kinect. Do they really think that people will be rushing to stores to buy this just because it has "New" animation?

The DBZ games traditionally do very well (read: better) outside of Japan than they do right there in their home country.

What they're doing is trying something new. Which is what they need to do. Because this franchise's games and their sales are falling to pieces worldwide.

It may turn out to be really fucking awful, but it's what they need to try right now, and the fact that they're ignoring their home country is proof of how desperate they are. Good on them, I say.

i dont think this was on their mind when they come up with the kinect game, but did anyone else besindes me saw an relation between the kinect game concept, with scanning cards to generate characters, and the Datach DragonBall Z - A Fierce Battle at the Tenkaichi Budoukai Famicom Game?

Seems to be no more than UT with Kinect motion controls.

Some will certainly go buy Kinect and the game, others just the game, plus the collectors will possibly only buy the game to have it.

VegettoEX's 110% correct, Namdai needs to try out new ways of working with the Dragon Ball Z games, and going back to "Raging Blast" or "Budokai Tenkaichi" isn't.

Anywho, Spike can't be that bad, they managed to do a 2D/3D game so they might be able to produce an RPG DBZ game.

I too like call it Namdai :)

Well, I hope there will be some cool art on the cards like on the recent cardass system, or have to unlock some characters with special abbilities or unique features. Otherwise I find this card thing pointless and don't see any reason to buy the cards instead of downloading the QR codes on net and printing them.

There's nothing strange about that. It's just a name fusion.

Hopefully the DBZFK QR Cards will look similar to the Dragon Ball Heroes:

I sure wish they'd sell these DBH cards, I wouldn't play with them, I'd just like to own them.

The cards have already been shown and I doubt they'll change them before release:

By the looks of it, Dragon Ball Z For Kinect would do a great steelbook case.

Just imagine this as a steelbook:

Image

It'd definitely work as a steelbook! RB1's steelbook's pretty awesome too, it has Goku SSJ front and Broli SSJ rear, plus a book explaining how the game was produced and its characters. Oh yeah, a CD of the international soundtrack.

I love how those are the images La Resistance took for us from the press event with some other URL slapped on them.

Interview with Adrienne Curry after playing this game.

It may just be the game to give me abs like Goku.
"I like the money it brings in, but Dragon Ball Heroes is the worst. That's actually the real reason I decided to start working on new material. I was afraid Bandai would make something irredeemably stupid like Super Saiyan 4 Broly." - Akira Toriyama, made up interview, 2013.

Wow, what a great way to sell the game, Namdai! :P

It's a fact anyone looks ridiculous playing Kinect, I do too but it's really fun, so this shouldn't bother anyone. I tried Dance Central Kinect and sucked at it, couldn't do a single move correctly (not much of a dancer myself). x_x

My ass is in pain from the look of the art and design of this game, really
---
It's for the western audience, make it cheap.....
Damn, my hopes for at least some collectible things that I will actually buy - because I don't need no Cardass cards, to look on the art and don't play with them - are in ashes.

PS: Gimme more headaches Namdai, and I won't be buying this game neither in the end. With UT, it was so much bad news one after another, that it pissed me off and I still don't consider myself into buying it.

Something about about that girl convinced me to buy a Kinect and this game. I'm just joking she's pretty though :P
The Dragonboxes are like a middle aged woman who still looks good through simply taking good care of her skin and body with maybe a tiny bit of makeup while the Orange Bricks are like a middle aged woman who get's 50 tons of botox, makeup and plastic surgery in order to look younger and as a result looks even worse. ~ ringworm128

^I feel the same :P ! I hear the Kinect is pretty good if you want to get in shape but I can already see my self getting angry at the controls and will likely turn it off after the first fight.
