No, I think it's a memory issue, for example, if they keep it for a longer time, probably game's fps would drop (on ps3/360). Image it in 3v3...
I read that Dimps is going to attempt having XV for the current-gen at 60/1080 so I'm guessing the last-gen will have 30/720 or lower? That's not really ideal, especially considering it's for a fast paced fighting game like this.

Developers since the 7th gen should've made their objective to have their games running at 60fps despite even if the graphics would've been lower than an HD resolution.
Rukura wrote:The Dragon Ball Z Games Facebook page has an update up about the Network Test.
Dragon Ball Z - Games wrote:The Network Test for Dragon Ball Xenoverse is only 5 days away. Are you ready?

When is the test?
EUROPE: from October 4th at 11:59 AM CET to October 5th at 3:00 PM CET
AMERICAS: from October 4th at 5:00 AM PDT to Oct 5th at 8:00 AM PDT

How can I participate?
EUROPE: Register is now closed. Codes will be sent by email by October 1st.
AMERICAS: download code to be shared on October 3rd on the Dragon Ball Z Games Facebook Page. Redeemable via the PlayStation Store for the first 20,000 players who enter it.

The test will be available on Playstation 3 only.
Quality and content are not representative of the final game.
Someone asked how we'll know if we're in, to which they said that we'll recieve a email with a code to redeem. No "but" or "maybe", so are we to assume that everyone who got the chance to register for the European Network Test is in? Definitely staying in, this Saturday :P
Read this too but it's a shame they're leaving out their Xbox Dragon Ball fans out of it but I suppose they'll end up releasing a demo for the 360, PS3, PS4 and XO.
Tekken Tag Tournament 2 runs at 60fps/720p. The resolution will adjust to lower resolution during TA! (Tag Assaults) or other Tag moves with 3 characters or more on screen. I think 60fps 720p is very possible on PS60.

DB Xenoverse is not a DBZ simulator with fighting elements, it's a semi competent fighting/action game with DBZ simulation elements.

Source: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=MezdOM2cMsY
The majority of the response seems to be just nothing but false-confirmation from people who want the game to fail so we can get spike back :problem: chances are most of these people are just building strawmen biases because they don't know to play it correctly or are trying to judge it solely in the similarities for any excuse to get people back into RB........
Not once has anyone ever reviewed the game of what it does and what it encourages. People just get their conclusions on whether it looks closer to BT3 (positive) or BOZ (Negative) and then the consensus. It really shows that people dont seem to want to learn the game at all. They just want a masher they can get plow through.
TheDevilsCorpse wrote:There are some more similarities, like being able to revive fallen teammates. I agree though. Overall, despite the similarities, the two games are very different.
The thing is, I don't see how it should be an issue for people that Dimps is taking the GOOD things from BOZ and using it as a basis for the multiplayer in this game. Only this fanbase would complain about a company doing that because they live by the idea that, is something looks like shit, it is shit. The shit in this case being BoZ which, in all honesty, wasn't nearly as bad as people make it out to be; it's just not what they wanted so they blow it out of proportion. Once they see that one thing that reminds them of it, it's all they focus on and then everything else doesn't matter.

Sparks @ The YouTube fanbase of whether it's Dragon Ball, PlayStation, Xbox, Nintendo, Apple, Android, Samsung, Star Wars or whatever they always get into stupid neverending arguments that aren't worth anyone's time and much less of the companies.

Probably its just cuz its beta that it dissapears so fast.

Maybe we can destroy the whole ground with atacks in the full version.
(I hope  )
I hope we actually get some in-game dome-explosions for once. BoZ managed to have at least that.

Well that yes, but I mean dome blasts on the stage after you launch something like the Big Bang, Buster Shell or Burning Attack
Spike has it done right only for the special effects of this fight but never in-game.

Thanks for the reply. I have just been peeking in out at the info so I missed that. Well guess there is no point in trying to get it since I will be working at the time...

They never said the code would be posted then. Can you imagine how chaotic that would be? That's when it can be used or even will be active I guess. IDK...but I don't think they will say when they are posting the code tbh.

I thought the same thing but it doesn't really say what exactly will be taking place except show up take the info and redeem. I just want a chance to actually get this code.

It looks like on the Facebook Page, the time the code would be put up has been taken down. Originally it was 9AM PST. It makes sense to have start time. How else is anyone supposed to know? First come first served.

Does anyone know if there is any major difference with the current and next gen versions? I haven't seen much reports on the footage saying it's from the PS3 or PS4 versions.

Aside from the graphics, maybe that they'll allow the users to install the game data on the HDD for PS4 (this is already a feature on the 360 and XO, plus PS3 for some games).

Dimps needs to make people want the current-gen version over the last-gen and that's with exclusive content that they can't get on the last-gen, because graphics alone won't do it.

Installing to the hard disk is actually compulsory for PS4 games.

They kinda made it pretty clear how it'll work. It seems to be one code that everyone will have to rush to enter on PSN, and will only work the first 20000 times.
