I'm willing to believe that they're the same character. It's not like they don't have similarities. I hope they aren't though. It'd be nice to have two females, and I prefer the original base design over the one shown here.

If I have any complaints its the same-face going on with her and Cabba. Do all universe 6 saiyans have Gine's face?

Cabba and the two girls / Goku Gohan Vegeta

It would look cool on paper but I hope the casual fans dont start bashing DBS for having "too many powerful females fighters" and it becomes like the Star Wars fandom with the fans already bashing Rey for being shoved down their throats.

Fem Broly having the potential in reaching Blue level or more is already being foreshadowed.

Nah, simply let them have their rage attacks and move on, i always thought Pan had a Great potential and i always wanted more female warriors, saiyans or not, so I love this change! Will be great imo, and finally brings some variety in the show

Maybe in the future we'll have something Bardak and Gine - related too

Some people just need to admit that they are sexist or racist. How many times do people say if you want female or other race characters then they should make new ones when an old character has it's gender or race changed (not saying anything is wrong with this feeling, I agree)? However, when new characters with different races or genders get made then its criticized for pandering to sjws. They can't win.

Agreed. I know Toriyama has only a set number of face types in his arsenal, and maybe he really likes drawing the Gine face because it's a newer/fresher type, but I don't want all the saiyans in Uni 6 to have the same face.

I'm hopeful the king at least has Vegeta's face or a different eye/eyebrow type than Cabba, Gine, and not!Brolli do. Toriyama did a great job on not!Brolli's hair; I think that looks really cool and I like it much better than the ponytail. (The ponytail makes her look more like Brolli, where without it she looks more like her own character.) I just hope when/if more saiyans are introduced that there's some variety in their facial features.

Best thing is we'll get some great moments, I have a feeling those new saiyan girls will do wonders at that tournament, is perfectly in Toriyama style
And regarding female characters, they previously, heavily foreshadowed a strong future role for Pan
Something similar to Multiverse or Online would be awesome imo
Also, thinking about the great variety of Super's cast, i remembered something related to Tien, Toriyama once said that his race can have godlike potential, but his powers were suppressed due to his evil starting nature
Maybe they'll awaken those God powers, giving him an insane power up? I could die for the happiness

At that point, If we'll got Trunks and Goten do something significant, Pan and Uub as prominent characters(heavily hinted, so will definitely happen) and Yamcha in some way relevant again, I'll declare Super as my favourite series of every Dragon Ball one

Generally when people say that diverse characters are "pandering to SJWs" I just ignore what they have to say. Those people aren't worth giving the time of day to.

She does look a lot like FemBroly with her hair down, but it could be a case of sameface. Toriyama is bad about that. Interesting that they're being coy about which universe she's from and her name. Maybe she's the Yurin chick that shows up at Tien's doji in 89?

To be honest I would like a new saiyan girl apart from Brolyen, for some reason the first SS woman introduced in the franchise being a LSS is a bit strange for me...

I do want more variety on the faces trough, but I was also expecting King of Salad to be in the team (and I seriously doubt there would be four saiyans)

This design doesn't appear in that shot, no.

Edit again: Just thought of something. The Saiyan from the opening has asymmetrical bangs. The hair over her left eye is a lot longer than the right:

Really love that new character design. Judging by the translation seems like they are saying she's another new saiyan besides the one shown in the Opening. Different people then.

Anyway 3 Saiyans is my limit. We don't need more.

Supposing they are indeed 2 different characters, then for U6 team we currently have: Botamo, Magetta, Frost, Cabba, 2 female saiyans and Hit. 3 missing.

Still hope Toriyama gives us a ruthless Namekian. Champa's knows them because he recognized Piccolo. Come on, Toriyama! You just have to pick a random Namekian and give him new clothes. It's that simple.

Goku didn't ignore him, he just left before Piccolo could say anything.

Since when has Piccolo ever been that assertive? He can't control kids, how is he supposed to control Vegeta? It was clear that Piccolo realized that this wasn't the place for him. He would've been crushed by the next challenger and he knew it.
