Beerus is awake and the first announcement about the series said they'd fight an opponent stronger than Freeza.

Ok? So when does that suggest the footage we see takes place after Revival of F? It's completely possible the first episode or two to act as a recap to what's been going on between the movies and how it ties into Super. Which makes a lot of sense cause a lot of new eyes will be the product and renewed interest will create new fans as well.

I honestly thought that Jump 08 special outfit was a one-off thing; I don't know why I'm so happy to see it again (semi-nostalgia? I loved the Jump 08 special and its Gokû trolls Vegeta for 20 minutes stuff).

Disappointed no child!Pan and child!Bra, but Gokû wearing his cute Jump 08 scarf is a good runner-up of sorts. :3

I don't think he can't simple not use god form like is some button. Now I want to use it, now I don't.

In BOG he had it but couldn't use it with Ssj until Whis trained him so it's obvious that he can turn it on and off.

So it is like some sort of button!

It's entirely possible Gokuu's hair and aura will be re-colored for the actual episode.

If it weren't for the hinting at the new antagonist potentially being stronger than Resurrection F Freeza, I'd be inclined to think this (or at least the first episode or two) actually does take place directly after the defeat of Buu and that Beerus and Whis just kinda show up as a quick cameo.

They never said when that antagonist would appear, though.

Here's a possible explanation for the teaser...

The scenes with SSJ Goku and Goten and Trunks are from episodes explaining what happened between Buu and BoG. The Vegeta scene takes place between BoG and RoF, and is from the battle where Vegeta becomes SSG for the first time (remember in BoG he made Goku promise that he could become SSG "next time"), and the scene with Beerus and Whis is from later episodes when the show catches up with RoF.

This shot is probably the moment Vegeta mastered God power (which was before FNF).

He did say he wanted the form when they'd need it next so it'll be great to see it was for something other then training.

We didn't see much but this spoke volumes without speaking much. Which was smart! Casual Goku returns from 2008!? WOndee if Goku still a Radish farmer. Gohan got his hair back. I'm happy.

Now... Kid Goten. I can't be man because that blue outfit is dope! I love it. I always play as it on Budokai 3. Why wasn't it in new games . Now I'm still hoping it's time to see EOZ GotenGoten. Have him grow up PLEASE! PLEASE!

Anyone notice King Kai was terrified, possibly of Beerus, or maybe Beerus and Whis reveals something to him, or maybe King Kai senses the new threat.


Sintzu, it's important to remember no one knows anything about Gohan in the universe, the may know about the Super Saiyan, but may thinks it was Vegeta so this guy goes after Vegeta, instead of the others.

I think Super could start out between Battle of Gods and Revival of 'F'...

It might further explain how Goku and Vegeta got to train with Whis, besides bribing him with food. There could be a necessity behind doing so. A villain more powerful than Golden Frieza could appear before RoF.

In Revival of 'F', from what I saw, Vegeta was able to kick Frieza's ass in a matter of seconds without breaking a sweat. Goku held back as well, because he clearly had the power to wipe Frieza out in one blast but only did so when he knew the Earth would be destroyed moments later. In fact, I think his original intent in holding back was to let Vegeta have his revenge but that did not work out. So, SSGSSJ Vegeta and Goku were both far beyond Golden Frieza.

It's no spoiler that Vegeta at some point becomes a Super Saiyan God. But maybe Dragon Ball Super will explain WHY he did so. The implied explanation in F is that he wanted to keep up with Kakarot.

But what if they needed two Super Saiyan Gods at some point? What if one just wasn't enough?

Hey, we'll find out for sure starting on July 5th.

Well it's just a teaser. They could explain on why Goku is just a normal SSj now then his SSGSS form later on.

I could certainly go with this. It's either this or it's after RoF entirely because it can't in anyway be before RoF for the whole series. Beerus didn't wake up until the beginning of RoF.

well At the very end of the trailer with goku holding his head the background sky color is purple/pink-ish. Maybe King Kai almost ran him over?
