I know it doesn't entirely make sense, but leading up tot he past few episodes, I was hoping that Piccolo's recruitment would be harder. I wanted Piccolo to have that moment of doubt and considering himself a bit useless (Asking many of the questions fans have asked since the start of this saga about Piccolo and the team), only for Gohan to somehow change Piccolo's mind and reignite Piccolo's fighting spirit. Because, at this point there really isn't anything else interesting they can do with Piccolo (And I don't consider giving him a power up being that interesting outside of giving him more cool scenes). Plus, it would add to Gohan role as a semi-motivator (His effect on Videl and F!Trunks come to mind).

I know Toei mentioned Gohan will regain his mystic form, but what if he first unlock SSJ Ikari vs Piccolo then after that regains his Mystic form? That would put him around SSJB before sparring with Goku again.

I can tell the importance of every character:

1)Very important: Goku, Vegeta and (Fit or Fat) Buu.
2) Medium: Android 18, Android 17, Gohan and Piccolo.
3) Not so important: Krillin, Tien and Roshi.

I wonder one thing, if goku is getting a new transformation, won't it make sense for Gohan to not get the old one and get the updated instead..

Either way, if goku and the cast keep getting stronger like this the day isn't far when this happens

Doubt Gohan ia gonna get SSGSS they're teasing Ultimate too much for that to be the case.
SSGSS on Goku's old gi has grown on my a lot since the Trunks arc but yeah still prefer it on RF gi though.

I personally would prefer to see Goku spar with Roshi more. Though I'm most hype for episode 90 than any other episode right now.
