They've been doing this for a long time. First, with the 2008 OVA (introduced Tarble). Then, with Minus (pussified Bardock). And then with BoG (good saiyans circle jerked to stop the evillll ones, but lost).

How does Minus pussify Bardock ? He may have shown some worries torwards his son but, aside from that he´s still the same cold killing mercenary from a warrior race. Also didn´t Bardock (Bardock special) show somes concerns torward his comrades ? Minus never pussified Bardock, he was already one since his first introduction in that OVA.

It's not realistic. My gripe is this use of the words "good" and "evil." What they're doing is basically trying to erase all pre-established descriptions and backstories of the saiyans so they can introduce peaceful ones like Tarble without anyone questioning it. In other words, they're pussifying the entire race so it fits with the nature of this awful show.

A whole etnic group being one dimensional, all sharing the same trait is neither realistic.

Am I the only one who finds it absolutely stupid that they're going out of their way to establish the saiyan race as a "good" one that just happened to include some bad apples who won out? I hate the words "good" and "evil" in this context.

This is probably just U6 Saiyans and not those from U7.

We have more evil Saiyans then good. Besides evil Saiyans can not work anymore since the idea has been done to death already. Fans here seem to hate it when we get rehashes.

As expected, no one can come with a logical explanation for the inconsistency of Flintstone-esque cavemen being able to build highly advanced spacecraft and travel around the universe.

Could be a case of turning Caveman-like due to violence. While being fairly advanced before.

Namekians were able to build spaceships and due to the weather and death of most population, regressed to a apparently rudimentary society.

Ha, that's always bothered me too.

But ditto with the Namekians, who show no other signs of being technologically advanced, and the ship Bulma and co. ride in isn't shown to be particularly magical in anyway.

Maybe the good Saiyans, since they probably spent less time just going about slaughtering things for the hell of it on the planet, had actually started developing higher levels of technology over time? If they never left their own planet prior to this, it's possible the brutality of the evil Saiyans actually kinda wrecked havoc on the planet itself, and the good ones may have been planning to ditch the evil one's on their dying home world, only for things to work out pretty much the entire opposite way in the end.

For Kabe to even pose a threat he has to be either of these three things. Which one do you guys think he will be?

1: A SSGSS

2: A Saiyan form that is equal to or above a SSGSS ( Toriyama's version of a SS4 for an example, the gold looking fan made one)

Or. 4. They can make him go up against Piccolo, thus eliminating the need to make him on level with Goku/Vegeta.

I agree with number 4. He'll probably fight and evenish match with Piccolo.

Rooting for a Double KO between Cabba/Vegeta. Hit will probably be the one to beat Vegeta, if they fight.

Since Goku/Vegeta just fought Freeza in ROF, Piccolo should fight Frost.

I agree. I think it'll be interesting to see what Piccolo has up his sleeves these days. Taking the focus away from Goku/Vegeta for a little while can't really hurt anything.

That's probably because Monaka is stronger and he wants him to go last, so the order of the others don't matter.

No one can take you seriously if your arguments boil down to "I don't like Super". You basically stop thinking because you let your bias get the best of you.

First of all, Burdock. All portrayals of him besides Minus don't count. Whether you like them or not doesn't matter because Toriyama didn't creat them. So, he wasn't "pussified" and was always like that.

Second, the Saiyajin. Whatever we know about them came from Toriyama and he's now expanding on stuff we already knew for some time and that doesn't contradict anything. This is now the reality. Again, if you like it or not doesn't matter because, basically, whatever Toriyama says goes. It's silly complaining that a fictional species were described as X and now they are Y because the creator is the same, nothing is contradicted and it can go wherever he wants.

Remember Kaioushin saying Bibidi created Boo? Well, turns out he was wrong. Remember Raditz saying Goku was supposed to destroy the Earth? Well, he was wrong. It is what it is. You have every right to not like it but ultimately doesn't change anything because that's where Toriyama wants to go.

Hoping piccolo do something thing in this tournament is pretty much getting shot down the drain considering buu got the shaft.

My idea is that Saiyans were visited/invaded by other aliens with their space-ships, so on Universe 7 the few survivor of Planet Salad destruction were able to go to Planet Plant by using the stolen spaceships. Probably if U6 Saiyan have technology it would mostly be because they stole from evil races they wiped.

How was bardock pussified in minus?

Toriyama just made him worry more about his family thats it.
And the things we know about the saiyns in U6 is way better than them just being evil.
Toriyama is doing a very good job at making the new arc not fan fiction like.

Also till of now i have to see this guy not bitching about something in super.

Doors on Namekian homes float off and up in the air. So there is some technology at work. And seeing technology doesn't appear to surprise them. Earth culture did, but not their technology. It is more than likely that Namekians had been an advanced technological race, but because of the damage their population and planet suffered during that cataclysm, they chose to live simply and take care of their world. It's entirely possible something had gone wrong because of their technology and their planet suffered for it. So they decided to do all work and live life more naturally.

As for Saiyans, they may've developed space flight for the sole purpose of finding other races to fight. Our space program isn't anything worth noting. The difference being, even if theirs was only slightly better than ours, they have the benefit of living very long lives and can afford to spend time in transit to a new world. It's also possible the ship they used wasn't their own, and just one that belonged to another people who may've landed there to make first contact...and were killed by the warlike Saiyans. It's more than likely Saiyans only learned how a space ship functions and not how to construct one themselves. I can use a microwave and drive a car with the best of'em. Doesn't mean I know how to build them and put them together. All I know is one needs electricity and the other needs gas. However else it works may as well be magic to me.

I would not get your hopes up. I highly doubt Piccolo got stronger so soon and can reach god tier level in such a short period of time. Piccolo will probably be added just to job to the other U6 fighters.
