I hope Broly's LSSJ form won't work the same as Kale, because in movie 8 Broly was pretty aware of what he was doing unlike Kale who was uncontrollable. So I'm hoping there are different grades of that Legendary form or maybe the transformation works differently depending on the user.

They’re the same form. And Kale was able to control herself while in her hulking form in episode 101. Its the inconsistent writing that makes it confusing to tell with Kale and her forms. So yeah, new Broly will probably have his hulking SSBerserk form and be in control like Kale in 101.

They are the same, but there's one difference and I mentionned it. Kale can't speak properly while she is in her Berserker form, she only says one word, "kill", "Son Goku" or "Sis" that's it. Broly on the other hand could speak properly in movie 8 when he transformed, so why not Kale?

The longer I think about it, the more I believe SSJ4 will indeed be a thing in this movie. Some have already pointed out the deeper shade around the eyes, but then I thought "wait, there are no irises and the irises are one of the most important things of that transformation" Then I remembered the trailer and that we indeed see gold rimmed irises for Broly there. Buckle up, folks. It just might happen.

I hope there will be some kind of extra transformation other than classic LSSJ. We've already seen that in TOP and the classic Broly movies.

None of this is related to why Gohan being excluded shouldn't be provided with an explanation, it's a story, and should be told like a story..

It's entirely related because you're asking for pointless exposition in the event that Gohan doesn't show up. It's already a given that he's an academic and it's already a given that that's what he has to dedicate the majority of his time to -- we don't need dialogue to "explain" something we're already aware of. That's silly. That's bad writing.

If the setting is on Earth and if Gohan somehow found a way to balance training with his super busy profession for the sake of protecting his family, I might be inclined to agree that an explanation of some kind is necessary. But that's already too many "if"s.

So, from what I gathered, people are speculating that in this movie, aside frim Broly, we're also gonna see: Bardock, Gogeta, AND SS4? Yeah, I don't think so. Bardock is likely, since this movie is about saiyans, maybe he'll be in a flashback. Gogeta? Eh, maybe, if we go by the theory of the 3 movies they advertised. But if we get either of these 2, or both, we won't get SS4, otherwise this will be called Dragon Ball Heroes instead of Dragon Ball Broly.

But if we get either of these 2, or both, we won't get SS4, otherwise this will be called Dragon Ball Heroes instead of Dragon Ball Broly.

December figure catalogues will be sent out early August anything not shown in the trailer will be blanked, I fully expect LSS/SSBeserk Broly to be shown in the trailer so if anything Broly is still blanked it's more than likely he will have another form.

What we see of it looks the same as Kale so I don't see why it wouldn't be the same thing. If it makes him rampage like Kale's does then you've got an easy reason to make him fight everyone. We don't even know if this Broly knows how to become a Super Saiyan prior to the events of the movie so it's not a given (yet) that he knows how to control his power. It being new to him like it was to Kale would be a helpful explanation as to why nobody found him before. Who'd pay any mind to one extra base Saiyan running around?

I'm more curious what's going to motivate him to fight Goku. With the new armor I wouldn't be surprised if Frieza somehow manipulates Broly or otherwise instigates it.

I think Broly and Paragus are going to be ancient saiyans during the time of Planet Sadala rather than Planet Vegeta saiyans during the time of King Vegeta and Bardock.

They brought back Broly because he was popular. We know that the movie will take place in at least two different time periods (past and present, most likely), so Bardock isn't out of the question. As for Gogeta and Super Saiyan 4, well who's to say TOEI didn't use the same logic for bringing them into canon that they used for Broly? Personally, I think that Gogeta is the least likely after they'd already made fusion obsolete in the Zamasu saga, but they could just ignore that for the sake of fan service.

They wouldn't use the same logic on the same movie. They may do other movies or series where they incorporate those things, but to pack them all in one is overkill, and they know that. That's why Heroes exists

I am kinda excited but nervous for next month, Banpy probably won't let us down but Bandai I would not be surprised if they made an entire gashapon line for Broly, movie stuff, heroes stuff, old Z stuff etc. I just can't believe they bloody got their wish, these next few months after the movie are gonna be hell!

I doubt Super Saiyan 4 will ever be a thing in Toriyama's stories. People clamor for some new version of that form with every movie announcement and get let down every single time. I still haven't managed to forget all the terrible Super Saiyan God fan art before its design leaked.

Wonder where they will find Broly. It would be cool if he was in a different galaxy, like the South Galaxy.
After the introduction of the different Universes concept, feels like the idea that an Universe is supposed to have more than one galaxy has been forgotten.
