Gohan surpassing Goku really shouldn't matter at this point of the story but I'm looking forward to the episode.

Gohan will be around goku's level but won't be above him.

It looks like Gohan is already Blue level when they about to spar in tag teams, and the PV says Gohan wants to surpass Goku, in other words surpass Kaioken Goku.

Of course Goku will surpass Gohan again with his new transformation.

I believe Gohan will face either Toppo or Jiren, those are the most logical choices, given the huge boost he has gotten.

Episode 90 is going to be great. Gohan is so relevant that he is bringing Piccolo up with him a true bro. It should Goku>Gohan>Piccolo>Tien. Both Tien and Gohan will have made the biggest gains. I'll assume that Gohan got to a level were he ain't fodder to SSB Goku somehow(put respect on Piccolo's name. He taught Gohan how to use his potential for maximum plot hax), and Tien will probably be as strong as Piccolo or a little weaker aka SS2-SS3 tier, but it's super hard to tell there.

I'm sure an attack that had goku shitting himself for moment should cleave trunks like butter not to mention briefly traded blows before kicking him into a building so where is him being off guard there?

While Trunks most likely got a boost from rage, saying he was even with Rose from that exchanged is like claiming Gohan was stronger than 2nd form Freeza after he had his rage boost from stabbing Krillin.

Goku and Tien teaming up? When have we EVER seen that? Those two rarely interact. That is shocking. Great, but shocking.

Rest in peace the Goku and Vegeta show, and good riddance. I'm loving this.

Also i disagree that everyone will job to Jiren. Is not sure that this tournament will end with Goku vs Jiren and that all the others will job. Everything can happen.

I don't dislike it, and am waiting for the episode to see if he really does reach Goku's tier or not. However, assuming he does, I want there to be a good explanation. Because the only thing we know is that Piccolo does something with his training to help Gohan possibly get real strong in less than 10 hours. Can't say that would sit well with me, but I'm open to the possibility.

As for the tag match, Goku and Ten actually teaming up is the most exciting part of it for me, might help make Ten a more interesting character by interacting with Goku, Piccolo, and Gohan. But as it stands, Goku requesting to fight Gohan one-on-one really is what I'm most hyped for.

Tien and Krillin making massive gains is great because it raises the water level for the rest of humanity and means that Earth could produce other amazing warriors down the road besides Uub, who's kind of a cheat. The Tenshin-style dojo will be something to watch for sure.

NamekianSaiyan, Gohan does have the capability to have the warrior mentality. I'm pretty sure Piccolo says he hasn't had it for a long time, which implies he used to. If Piccolo can't bring him back to the fighter that he used to be, then he's a horrible teacher.

Tho chances are slim I hope their surprise turns out to be an interview from AT, it can be about anything regarding the prev arc and this one without revealing what happens.

Can't wait to see Tien being stronger than Piccolo or even on par with Gohan yet people will try to excuse it using Frieza as an example, or saying they were all holding back.

I can't help my Gohan fan part trough, I'm hyped about him surpassing Blue Goku despite don't making any sense and making the Future Trunks arc even more dissapointing since he could have destroyed Black's ass by training a couple of hours.

It is pretty obvious seeing both the opening and the ending that Goku has a new form/state that is exactly like his base form but with some type of steam/smoke around him. I don't see why people should stop pointing out the obvious. Its especially easy to see it on the ending of the lastest episode where the filter is less satured. Either the new form is exactly like that or they are hiding it, but its obvious that Goku has a new power.

Tien loses to Piccolo any day of the month, piccolo was par with SS2 gohan and exploited Mystic Gohan's weakness when he wasn't strong enough to match it, unless tien jumped to SS levels as well it's not fair to compete light grenade vs tri beam..

Also, piccolo did a great fucking job in making gohan regain his warrior heart, that guy knows how to get shit done
