Vegetto never had a decent fight in his entire life! He never even had to go SSJ2 agaisnt anybody before! How boring is that (from Vegetto`s point of view)?

And then this Brolly comes along, who just keeps getting stronger and can take all of Vegetto`s attacks and keep coming back for more.

Of course Vegetto would want the fight to last... Zen Buu states that and even Vegetto himself implies that when he thanks Brolly for the fight. I think thats pretty obvious. So I can totally understand why he fought the way he did, bringing out a different layer of his power at a time.

Exactly. Vegetto wanted a good fight, it was the only reason he fought Brolly like he did. If he does have SSJ3 (which I'm sure he does, but no telling if that's what he's going to do now) he held off using it for that reason. Same reason he held off on SSJ2 until after Brolly had powered-up far enough to be a good fight in SSJ2.

Vegetto wanted a challenging fight. He's NEVER had one in his life (Gohan-Boo was easy for him to beat and nobody since has ever come close to being that strong). If he went straight to SSJ3 in the beginning, he wouldn't have had the challenge he was looking for.

That's because Salagir doesn't like GT, so it is being completely ignored. GT does not exist in DBM.

Not entirely. The characters have their GT designs. Plus, Trunks mentions having his GT desk job.

You must joking, because there's no way that's going to happen. DBM is ignoring GT completely.

It wasn't a very funny one.

I really don't like the fact that he ignores GT completely, all in all, he's just another anti-GT fanboy. He could easily have had another world based on GT, together with universe 18. 18 would be the "mangaverse" and the other one would be the "animeverse". And before you ask what the difference would be, remember: NO GOKU, plus Vegeta would be a bit more mature (thanks to the whole Baby incident trauma) and you would have the Uub and Buu merger. Another variation could be a universe ruled by Baby-Vegeta. I think Super #17 would either stay dormant after killing Goku (fulfilling his purpose) or self-destruct (because he's insane) and the dragons would probably either stay dormant or dissipate after destroying the Earth.

Another fun one would be based on the thin line of the "movieverse", which kinda ends on movie 12 with both Goku, Vegeta and Buu dead for good. The fighters would simply be Gohan and Gotenks, but I understand that maybe with all these variations it would be too many of the same character, but hey! at least this Gohan would fight!

Pretty much, yeah. He's very biased in who he loves and hates. He loves everyone that every fanboy love (Broli, Vegeta, Bojack, Bardock) and pretty much hates everyone that every fanboy hates (GT as a whole, Slug, Tullece).
