What premise would you use to introduce a stronger villain?

Discussion regarding the entirety of the franchise in a general (meta) sense, including such aspects as: production, trends, merchandise, fan culture, and more.

I wouldn't mind seeing that, actually. A more realistic style of fighting than the typical boom-boom-boom we usually see.

Yeah, exactly what I'm talking about. It would be so much more fun to watch than the typical latter-half of DBZ battles we usually see.

How about not one villain stronger then the Z warriors, but an army at about comperable to them? Say a rerisen Freeza Empire under new management or something like that. Not one of them is stronger then the Z warriors, and they're mostly somewhat underneath them, but through SHEER NUMBERS are actually a threat?

I think I had something to say, but I don't remember it, so instead:

I think part of the idea at Dabura's introduction was that Makai had the same amount of power overall as the rest of hte mortal realm, and that Dabura was something of the antithesis of ... someone.
Which suggests to me that, while we might get a couple SSJ2s and maybe an SSJ3-level character out of there, it'd need something more clever to be something other than a movie-ish scenario.

... Heh. *goes to find said scenario*

That sound like Son Gohan.
Well, y'know...if I was drilling Videl, I'd probably not care about the world either.
I guess he got that I do not care if the world is destroyed tomorrow and I am or someone associated with me are the only ones that can save it, I/we have more important things to tend to attitude from Chi-Chi.
The Saiyans are very much like the Klingons and Jem'Hadar.
