I can see it now, plastered in huge letters on the front cover:
"Watch out parents!! This is not for children!!!"

I'd want a kanzenban like that!
Actually, I'd prefer:

"Watch out parents!! This is not for prudish parents!!!"

Considering that the comic itself is perfectly fine for kids. =p

I know that... T'is the irony and humor behind showing that on a children's comic book. 8)

My parents would disagree. I can remember my parents wouldn't buy me some of the old Viz single issues due to the violence. Can't say I blame 'em. I was something like 8-11 and I remember the uncut dub of Vegeta getting his ass handed to him by Freeza scaring the hell out of me.

Not that I didn't eventually get the Manga. When I really did want it I eventually did get it. Of course that wound up happening years later, but hey life goes on...

That's just your (and just about every other western) parents.

This. is. a. children's. comic/cartoon. period.

(I needs some Konzabans...)

I don't disagree, but do you really think most parents--in their hectic as hell lives as parents, employees, and husbands/wives--always take the time out of their lives to properly research and understand these things?

The Anime generation's offspring will make for excellent research subjects, all that being said. 8)

Entire franchise, Latino Audio, Dragon Box, who's with me?

Also; out of curiosity's sake, Japanese Dialogue with Faulconer score. I know it sounds like sacrilege, but I'm curious dammit.

I think I'd prefer a zombie/robot apocalypse to that second suggestion

Anyway: Complete Kanzenban release; all Daizenshuus released; complete Dragon Ball BGM released (not Z).

Well, if FUNi releases all the Dragonboxes, which it looks like they will, then there's a good chunk of dream releases right there :D

The rest would be:

-Uncensored Kanzenban releases in North America
-The rest of the Daizenshuu released in North America, and other guide books.
-Dragon Ball Kai 4:3 Blu-ray and DVD sets released in North America at a respectable price
-The Playdia and Teribikko footage subbed (and dubbed I guess) and released in some form (hopefully with the DBOX releases)
-SUPER BATTLE COLLECTION RE-ISSUE. Original packaging and all. Someone's gotta do it ;_;

That would be good. Most good indeed.

My dream release?

Make it like a silent movie. No words. Just 1860s organ music and the occasional dialogue frames.

That way everybody will just stop the pointless bickering that always goes on no matter what Funi or Toei does.

I don't know if I would go for this. Nothing against 1860s music, but I was always more of a guitar man myself.

I don't think you're catching the reference entirely.

I was looking for Ragtime style music. Compromise?

Freeza's super murder spree to New Orleans style ragtime? I am on board with that.

Actually, I'd like to see an official Toriyama followup to the manga... starring Bra and Pan and their wacky, buddy cop-style adventures.

Kazenban and Daizenshuu. When I have that, coupled with the Dragon Box, my collection will be pretty much complete.
