Dude, I love that movie

Once you get to the Director's cut (- pointless sex scene, + half hour of plot that totally makes the movie and should never have been removed in the first place) it's one of my absolute favorite movies of
any kind.

Coraline isn't a comic book movie hon. There was a book by Neil Gaiman that was also adapted into a comic at some point, but the movie was based off the book not the comic.
And yeah, like everyone else said, Watchmen should win. First time an Alan Moore book's been done anything resembling right and it wasn't just decent, it was freaking fantastic.

Since there are housewives out there who spend their days watching soap operas and Lifetime movies, not too surprising. And I'm pretty sure most of the males on here and elsewhere would prefer DBE straight several times to a marathon of Lifetime movies (except the men out there who are very secure and don't mind their manliness being questioned).
Hey, I saw a movie on Lifetime the other day that I remember watching back in my 8th grade health class on the dangers of teenage sexual activity and syphilis(
She's Too Young). And you know what? I watched it!
Am I any less of a man? No! Are my chances of getting syphilis in my teenage years lower? Heck-the freak-yes!

Daredevil was a great movie one of my favorites, now Electra on the other hand...
DBE>Electra

Seeing as Elektra was the Marvel Catwoman, and that movie had about as much to do with its source material as DBE.... I'd have to agree. I mean, at least DBE had Nyoibo and a sweet Kame gi.

The was possibly the coolest thing to come out of the movie.

Unlike Catwoman, Elektra was at least watchable. Not an epic movie, not a good adaptation at all, but an ok flick otherwise.
Totally agree on Daredevil's director's cut... except maybe for the trial scenes. I could see why those were cut out.
I liked Wolverine, though it suffered from creative screw ups. You can kind of tell how sometimes you're watching a decent adaptation of the Origins and Weapon X storylines, and sometimes you're watching, for example, a shitty re-treading of X2's end sequence.
Watchmen really should win this category. Not that I'm going to be watching this, or care about TV awards shows in general. Since I've seen numerous "best ever" comments towards it in this thread, I just have to throw this out there. Am I the only one who thinks Sin City would deserve that title? As an adaptation, at least. If you don't like the movie (or at least the director's cut where you can watch each individual story on its own), then you probably don't like the graphic novel either. Also, 300 was pretty good, aside from the Gorgo affair subplot.
To show my appreciation, I'll only beat them half to death.

The importance of the trial scenes varries- a few were just comedic bits to show a little more of Matt and Foggy interacting, but others were heavily important because as much as Matt's a vigilantee he's also a lawyer, and both those things are of crucial importance for him. The whole plotline with... Lisa Tazio was it? The murdered girl, the guy he was defending accused of killing her, excetera on those plot points, it really gave him so much more reason to be doing what he was doing besides the whole thing with his girlfriend.
I really realy really love this movie ^^;

Seen in stores unrated director's cuts of Elektra, but never bought/watched it. And will say did laugh when hearing the leader of the Hand's name was "Master Roshi".
And most guys I know said they only wanted to look at Catwoman just to look at Halle Berry in that outfit.

That was the whole point of the film.
It's not a movie, it's a 100 minute catwalk.
And yes...that pun was TOTALLY intended!

I would like to see Watchmen get it, but Wolverine is more well-known.
