Gregory the motherfucking cricket has a sprite and battle animations, but ChiChi doesn't?! Despite including a whole damn filler arc that was all Goku and ChiChi flying about! ARGH
Actually, according to the game, he's a sprite.
And what would Chichi do?
Force them to do homework?
Unless she was like in Super Dragon Ball Z.
Oh, you think the Grand Tour is your ally, you merely stepped into the Grand Tour. I was born in it, moulded by it. I didn’t see the Super until I was already a man; by then, it was nothing to me but blinding!

I'd like to see a Fighters Megamix style game, but Dragon Ball themed. Preferably focussing on the 23rd Tournament :D And if it had those kickass old-school Sega Saturn graphics as well... then that would be freaking excellent. Though I might as well ask for Bulma and 18 to hop out of my screen and start making out...

Oh my god. That would be the greatest thing ever. if you replace 18 with chichi. because 18 has a huge forehead.

Super DBZ's Chichi is, in fact, 23rd Budokai Chichi. Which is the era that filler which is in the game takes place in.

General White is in AotS, but ChiChi is not. How is that fair at all.

Chichi is; she just doesn't do anything of use besides giving Gohan food one time.

So I keep thinking about this 23rd TB game I want. Here are most of the features I'd like to see:

Fighters Megamix style. Which means it has cool old skool 3D graphics, and a mostly 2D stage but with a side-step move to make it more 3 Dimensional. Also, even though FM had 30-odd characters, this would have 1/3 of that. However, the characters would be a mix between standard fighter guys and goofy characters. If anyone has played Fighters Megamix you know what I'm talking about.

There are two modes to the gameplay. Story Mode and Tournament Mode. Story Mode is how you unlock most of the characters, and it follows the manga accurately. You start out as Son Gokuu vs Chapa Ou. This match would probably be like a Training Mode that's in most video games, except it's part of the story and not a separate mode. Yet it's not a "real" match either. Finish Training and you unlock Chapa. So you go through Story Mode, and initially only the main characters are playable, but as you progress you unlock more and eventually a lot of "What If" Scenarios too. Tournament Mode is like VS Mode in Tenkaichi Budokai format. You know, quarter finals on until the Final Match.

Each character has a main costume and an unlockable alternate costume, staying reasonably close to the manga:

Son Gokuu: 1) Kame gi with removable weighted parts; 2) Turban outfit from Chapter 166
Chapa Ou: 1) Yellow toga thing; 2) Namu's outfit (The two characters do look quite similar, don't you think?)
Chiaozu: 1) Tsuru gi with that brown neck-thing he wore in the prelims; 2) Same, but with one of those rice-picker hats he and Ten wore in Chap 166
Tao Pai Pai: 1) Regular Pink "Kill You" thing; 2) Cyborg version
Yajirobee: 1) Masked wrestler gi; 2) Normal samurai gi
Shen: 1) Glasses/white shirt; 2) Kami-sama
Tenshinhan: 1) Green vest, red belt, green pants; 2) Full Tsuru gi, plus sash and hat (from Chap 166)
Chi-Chi: 1) Regular dark blue gi; 2) Adult version of pink bikini thing with Cutter-helmet
Kurilin: 1) Kame gi; 2) Street clothes + cap from Chap 166
Ma Junior: 1) Normal purple gi with removable turban + cape; 2) Piccolo Daimao outfit
Yamcha: 1) Kame gi; 2) Shoulder-pad outfit from Chap 166

Each character has standard punch, kick, knee, elbow, and jump moves, as well as "double" punches, jumps, etc. All characters except Chapa, Yajirobe, and Chi-Chi have a standard kikouha too. About half of the characters can use Buku-Jutsu, Zanzo-Ken, and Kiai.

Each character will have 2 special signature moves (possibly finishers), one primary (1) and one secondary (2)

Son Gokuu: 1) Chou (Super) Kamehameha; 2) Ashi Kara (From the Feet) Kamehameha
Chapa Ou: 1) Hasshu-Ken (Blow of 8 Fists); 2) Flying Jump Kick
Chiaozu: 1) Chonoryoku (Psychokinesis); 2) Chou Dodon-Pa
Tao Pai Pai: 1) Super Dodon-Pa (slightly different than Chaozu's move); 2) Sabre Slash
Yajirobee: 1) Iai Giri (One Motion Slash); 2) Super Punch
Shen: 1) Mafu-Ba (Demon Seal Wave); 2) Shougekiha (Shockwave)
Tenshinhan: 1) Shishin no Ken (Four Bodies Move); 2) Kousengan (Eye Lasers)
Chi-Chi: 1) Aerial Flurry Attack; 2) Grounded Flurry Attack
Kurilin: 1) Double Tsuibikidan (Pursuiing Ki Bullets); 2) Kamehameha
Ma Junior: 1) Chou Bakuretsu Maha (Super Exploding Demon Blast); 2) Kouchikara Kiko Ha (From the Mouth Ki Blast)
Yamcha: 1) So-Ki-Dan (Spinning Ki Bullet); 2) Roga Fu-Fu Ken (Fist of the Wolf Fang Gale)

Son Gokuu can also use the Taiyo-Ken and Kamehameha as non-basic, non-signature moves. Similarly, Ma Junior can use Kousengan, Nobiru Ude (Arm Stretch), Mafu-Ba Gaeshi (Reverse Mafu-Ba), Kyoshin-Jutsu (The Art of Growth (?)), Tsuno (Antenna) Beam, Tsuibi Kikouha (Pursuing Ki Blast), Sai Sei (Regeneration), and Bakurikimaha (The hand-on-the-wrist blast thingy). Since he has such a ludicrously large and diverse moveset, maybe he can only use one or two in Tournament mode. Like, you choose two that you want to use before you start a match.

Anyway, this is just useless fan drivel about a game that will never happen, and it's not perfect. All I have figured out really is the alternate costumes and movesets. I'm sure most of you don't give even a single shit, but I felt like posting it anyway.

At this point I'm tired of fighting games. Dimps has done good since Budokai 3 but unless they make another game with the same sort of major changes I just don't want to play it. I'm done with Spike.

I'd like an action adventure game. Zone of the Enders: The Second Runner seems like a great example of how a good Dragon Ball Action game could play.

Maybe an rpg. Or maybe a co-op beat em' up like Marvel Ultimate Alliance.

Heck, I think maybe even a game that reinterprets Dragon Ball in a new style would be cool. It kinda gets old seeing characters in the exact same fashion doing the exact same things over and over. Heck,I'd settle for even a gaiden.

I wouldn't be at all surprised to see most of the fan entirely against it but personally all the Dragon Ball games just seem like they all blend in. A bunch of derivatives.

You know what would be good to reskin (despite me not knowing how it would be done)?
Splinter Cell.

Also, Fable, GTA, and Final Fa- Oh wait.
But seriously, I think a new style of games rather than the generic fighter would be good. An adventure game.

Wasn't that outfit in Super DBZ? Or am I imagining things?

I want a game where you can play as Bulma, Chi Chi, 18 and Ranfan. And just because they're girls, they have a different moveset fighting each other. Woo.

But how would we keep this PG?

Really? I thought it was just her 23rd Tenka'ichi Budoukai outfit.

It's SDBZ, not Soul Calibur 4, so you can just put both hands back on the keyboard right now, mister.

It's time to create a new character!
