Was it a rumor that we will be gettin some sort of 'extras'? Or was it stated somewhere official?

well according to many online stores we are suppose to get a few extras like textless songs, but the guy who got the box4 early said he can't find any extras yet.

I believe what happened was when DBox 4 was added to online retailer sites, the running time was longer than the first three boxes, prompting people to speculate it may include some kind of extras. But it was never confirmed by FUNimation to have extras so that's probably why it doesn't.

They should have some sort of "extras" situation if you send in all seven of those weird yellow page thats always stuck to the side of the back of the box you could get something. Kind of like Japan did with the singles.

Wait, how long are the running time for your Boxes?
My Box1 says 1050, Box2 has 1025, and my Box3 has 1025. I think everyone got random running times.

Mine are like that too. When it comes to the running times on RightStuf, Box 4 was the only one with a correct running time. Because each episode is roughly 25 minutes (24min 40sec) and if you times that by 42, you get roughly 1050 minutes or something that's closer than 1000 or 1025.

Anyone know how come there is more disk in the first Japanese Dragon Box than when you combine the four FUNiBoxes even though the first Japanese Box has less episodes?

If each disc had more episodes than six on it there would obviously be less discs needed.

Oh sorry, I didn't know there were more episodes in the FUNiBoxes.

Yes, the FUNimation discs took the original six episode/one audio track scheme of the originals and bumped it up to a seven episode/two audio track motif.

When I ripped it the default language got switched to English, so if you want Japanese change the language with your media player's audio settings.

Oooh, thanks! Say, if you're taking requests...mind uploading the Japanese version of Gokû transforming into a Super Saiyan against #19? I think it's in the first episode of the set. It's one of my favorite musical cues in the whole series and the wait for my set to come (not sure when it'll arrive) is killing me.
