Discussion regarding the entirety of the franchise in a general (meta) sense, including such aspects as: production, trends, merchandise, fan culture, and more.

I'm still half-and-half, but not because of Daizenshuu EX. It's because of Kai.

I was converted for about two months after I joined, but then I eventually went back to what's always been DBZ to me.

Wow I'm surprised! I was expecting a lot more people, it always seems that when I come back to the general forums there's a "I've been saved by the sub version" thread on here. I felt as if Dragonball was being treated as a religion but maybe I was being Melodramatic.

I have been and always will be a dub fan. It's what I grew up with and those are the voices I'm use to. That doesn't mean I don't like the sub version, it is great and everyone should watch it at least once. However, If I said I loved the sub version more I'd be lying to myself in order to fit in. Everyone has there preference and everyone has there difference and that's why I like this place; because though I'm in the minority, my opinions still get respected. I will say however that because of this site I have found a new twist on my preferences. Thanks to the Dragonbox I'm a part of an even smaller group of fans that likes Funimation's dub with the original music.

...Wait what are you doing? Are you still reading this? I finished what I had to say, why don't you move on to the next post?

I was originally a dub only fan. Then I became a fan of the dub with original music, then I became a fan of that plus the original version, now I'm mostly a fan of Kai's dub with the original version taking second (but enjoyed) place, with the previously mentioned dub having a mostly unwatched place in my heart for childhood love, and a N/A for Japanese Kai, due to not watching it, since I have the Dragon Boxes.

That's ironic for all intensive purposes.

Nope can't say I'm a convert thanks to Daizex because for one thing I'm not a convert but I do have an appreciation for the Japanese audio and for two, I watched Japanese Dragon Ball Z long before I started posting here or even reading the boards or the main site.

"All intents and purposes" perhaps? Ohhhhhhh! I see what you did there! Is very funny!
