While I cannot produce any sort of contract, here is even more evidence that Namco Bandai owns the Burst Limit rights.

As you can see, Atari's very own board for this game provides a link to Namco Bandai's forum, recommending you take further discussion on the game there. If Atari still owned Burst Limit, why would they do that?

It just showed beyond any shadow of a doubt that the game, its name, and its logo were created in Japan with absolutely no involvement from Atari. They don't own them any more than I own a nunchuck-wielding kitten which can shoot lasers from its eyes. No matter how much I would like to.
Exactly. If Atari actually owned anything other than North American distribution rights their name would appear on the packaging outside North America.

It must be nice to live in a world where you're always right because you get to ignore evidence and logic.

Because he's not actually agreeing to disagree. He's just refusing to admit he was wrong. :?

Atari doesn't have any rights to the franchise anymore. The only reason they got it was because Bandai didn't have much presence in the North American Gaming market, so they sold it to Infogrames (which they then had their subsidiary Atari handle after awhile, as the first Legacy of Goku game has no Atari branding). Eventually, when Bandai merged with Namco, they got the presence in the NA market that they needed, so they really just let Atari/Infograme's license die out so they could distribute the games themselves. The only thing DBZ related Atari/Infogrames might still own is the games they commissioned (Legacy of Goku games, Sagas, etc.).
