So, I finally got DBZK Part 5 DVD set. Gozar pretty much covered the menu screens I usually post so I'm not gonna post that. I know people want clips so, I'll post a few of those. I'm going to delete the clips on the release date for this set so, watch them and share them while you can!

Here is the back of the set...

And the clips...

Clip 1: This clip shows the new recap music, Dragon Soul version 5, and the new title card theme from here on out.

Clip 2: This clip shows some dialogue I enjoyed between Trunks and Freeza.

Clip 3: This clip is of Trunks telling Goku his Mother is Bulma and how her and Vegeta eventually... well you know.

Clip 4: In this clip Vegeta meets the androids and is willing to fight any one of them.

Clip 5: This is a clip of the new closing credits animation and the newly dubbed ending song.

And, I think that's about it from me! Enjoy!

For whatever reason, I haven't been able to view YouTube videos for the past 5 or so days, so if it's not covered in any of those clips, could you tell me whether "Instant Transmission" was kept in the uncut version if you don't mind?

I couldn't help but to laugh when Vegeta called Android 16 a "big bastard".

Yup, "Instant Transmission" is on the home release.

Ugh. Oh well, at least it's sorta similar to the original name, unlike names like "Tri-Beam", which made it into the Kai dub.

Tanooki, would you mind uploading the clip where Trunks confronts and kills Freeza. I would like to see that part in better quality to hear the music better. It would be much appreciated and thanks for all the clips you have uploaded thus far and the scan of the back of the box for Part 5.

Yea, sure. Here ya go. This was my first time watching this scene with the Kikuchi music in Dragon Ball Kai. I gotta say, I love the way the music drops when Freeza gets sliced.

Thanks so much Tanooki. Hearing it in better quality I actually really enjoyed the way the scene was done. I must agree the way the music just stops suddenly and then starts back up was very well done.

Anyone think they can be bothered to post Frieza's speech to Goku before being blasted? I'd love to see it in full quality. The only version I've seen is really bad quality (camera recorded).

What is the name of the ending theme in these sets? It should be in the opening for episodes 55-onwards.

By the way, thanks for those clips Tanooki! I liked the one where Vegeta was chewing out the androids.

To honest, I can't say I miss Yamamoto that much for Kai. Part 5 is so far my favorite set probably because of the Kikuchi score and the new dub. That and I love the new dubbed ending. The placement isn't that bad as people make it out to be, my favorite one being Freeza getting sliced by Trunks.

There isn't any translated name for it. Hujio asked me this last night, so I still have the screen shot handy...

Okay, now that I've heard Sonny Strait's Dragon Soul in good quality, I think I've realised why everyone who sings this song keeps making the same mistakes. Recently I watched a video of a con panel where Vic Mignogna was talking about how the dubbed songs usually get produced, and usually the producer or lyric writer records a scratch track first to show the "real" singer how the song should go. Apparently, the scratch track in this case really sucks, because every single person at FUNimation who's done Dragon Soul so far gets the same parts wrong with the timing and melody.

Ehhh..... I prefer the Japanese "Kokoro no Hane" instead of the new dubbed song. I feel sort of the same way with "Yeah! Break! Care! Break!".

I've always noticed that the English versions of "Dragon Soul" just couldn't be portrayed as well as the Japanese version did. I guess now I know why.

I don't know why either - I got my BD set a few days ago, and I live in Denmark!

I don't complain though, but the funny thing is that it was pushed back to July 28!
