So apparently the 7th is a Wednesday...ratings galour?

Is Wednesday usually a good day to air it? Also, I want Movie 9 to air. Spoilers and dub aside, I love the movie. The dub isn't even that bad.

Most people go back to school on Tuesday, so the day after school starts is kinda odd.

And I still think Nicktoons should air 97, 98 and Movie 9 all in one night.

Isn't that good? Especially for long running shonen shows like DB it's best to air it right after school ends, I mean that's how Toonami did it. Just replace the episodes with a movie.

And I mean what other new episodes for shows for kids air on Wednesdays? At least something that'd be competition with DBZ?

Actually, movie 8 had a pretty straight translation, surprisingly. Probably because it was the one single time in all of Z where Sabat was the writer.

If the movies are a success, I can imagine them doing what Toonami did and do 'Dragon Ball Chronicles' every night with Dragon Ball, Kai and GT. and pick up the Buu saga.

Nicktoons promotes the hell out of Kai. A Dragon Ball Chronicles block would do really well in the ratings.

It's cool, I guess, that a new generation of kids will be exposed to the movies, but why start with movie 8? I never understood Broli's popularity, to begin with. It would be amazing if they aired the Ocean Group/Pioneer versions of the first three films. Those were amazingly good dubs.

Actually, they're still a bit early (if you want to be precise about it )

They have yet to air the Kai episode of Gohan becoming SSJ at last, so even that will be a small spoiler. I know it was shown in the next episode preview, but still, that shouldn't really count.

Am I the only one who isn't too happy with Nicktoons airing the Z movies? I really hate how they dubbed them. What's even worse is that they aren't using Kikuchi's score and use horrible, horrible dub music. I wonder if they will ever redub the movies or even the Z series.

Sure, it's not my favorite dub by far, but the kids will love it and I can at least watch it the same way I watch Big Green without raging.

Honestly, it's not a big deal. It's just a TV show. A damn good one when done right, but still good even when they mess it up!

They're clearly not redubbing anything. I could hear some of the rock music during the Broly clips they showed and the screams and dialogue in the commercial are the same as they were in the dub that's been out for years.

Nice to see that Nicktoons is showing other parts of the Dragon Ball universe, but kids are going to find it weird that Gohan & Bulma's voices are different here than in Kai. If I was a kid I would notice it immediately and find it jarring.

Meh, no different from the Toonami days where they would show the first 3 movies and first 2 seasons with the Ocean Dub even while the Funi dub was still roaring along.

Guys I still think its possible that they'll redub Gohan's lines. Bulma too. They did it with Vegeta on the Season Sets, why not for a TV broadcast...it's probably not gonna happen.

I seriously hope this growing relationship between Funimation and Nicktoons improves One Piece's chance of getting on the air.
