The piece is tranquil and uplifting, with a solid melody germane to the action. I like it; it reminds me of Super Mario Galaxy somewhat.

That was actually pretty good. I like how the piece sounds ominous and somewhat systematically chaotic. It fits the scene it's used for.

Now for a piece that certainly stands out (in a good way) from the rest of the Budokai 1 soundtrack:

The name basically says it all. Very sorrowful, and fitting for any tear-jerking moment. It's actually one of my favorite pieces in the first Budokai game's OST.

Here's another piece from the Budokai OST I really like: Goku's Decision

The scene that song is used in in Budokai 1 always gives me chills for some reason. The image of Goku giving his salute and saying "Bye!" sticks out in my mind.

Regarding the song, I like the relaxed and peaceful feeling the song has. It's like the song is saying, "All your troubles are over. Now it's time to rest." Very appropriate epilogue song for that game.

Now for something a little more upbeat from Budokai 1:

That theme is absolutely kick ass. It's just so epic, and gets the adrenaline pumping. Here's one of the first songs from the Faulconer score:

Goku vs. Jeice & Burter
Yamcha: Do you remember the spell to release him - do you know all the words?
Bulma: Of course! I'm not gonna pull a Frieza and screw it up!
Master Roshi: Bulma, I think Frieza failed because he wore too many clothes!

Love that piece. Don't know what it is about the synth guitar, but it has a very particular, rather boisterous tone to it that I find enticing. I like the portamento on that synth that chimes in at around 1:49.

Here's another dark one. Cell's Slow Theme
"My dear friend, how can I make this even more painful for you? I could crush your hands, rip off both of your ears, or maybe I'll just smash in your tiny little cranium. Ehehehehehehehe."

It's a good standalone track, but they kinda overused it as background music, and I always associate it with dull staredowns, so it's kinda soured on me. Now here's a classic:

Spirit Bomb theme
Yamcha: Do you remember the spell to release him - do you know all the words?
Bulma: Of course! I'm not gonna pull a Frieza and screw it up!
Master Roshi: Bulma, I think Frieza failed because he wore too many clothes!

A great track. Very atmospheric sounding, almost to the sound of something very special that's about to happen.

Here's a track from the old Funimation-Ocean Dub.

It doesn't really have any discernible melody, but it does remind me of the StarCraft soundtrack, so that's a plus.

Interesting theme, reminds me actually of machines so... it's fitting :P

Next: GT's DAN DAN Genkidama/Oozaru Goku version (don't remember the actual name/code and I'm too lazy to search for it)

Great rendition of Dan Dan. I like how the piece has the "marching" aspect to it. For Goku and friends, you know that only the best has yet to come.

Awesome piece, from its tension-building intro, to its "shit just got real" tone midway and onwards.

Next: M708B, the unused title card theme for crisis episodes (ends at around the 0:07 point, just so you don't mistake it as an intro to the following piece, M737).
Couldn't resist after talking about it in the "Favorite Japanese Title Card Music" thread. :P

Definitely has a dangerous, disaster vibe to it. It reminds me of Ultraman and Godzilla for some reason though.

Here's a cool piece composed by Nathan Johnson - Gogeta's Theme

Not a bad song, although I wish that Johnson evolved the theme further so as to give the melody some more variety. I also think I could benefit from a higher-quality rip--not that I'm saying that's possible.

Here's another Nathan Johnson track: Get What's Coming
"My dear friend, how can I make this even more painful for you? I could crush your hands, rip off both of your ears, or maybe I'll just smash in your tiny little cranium. Ehehehehehehehe."

Very mysterious and brooding atmosphere created by the synth which then changes into a wall of guitars. I like it.

GT Catastrophic
BT3 off meds | The final fight

Ah, the Alpha and the Omega. As all life was created from Chaos...so shall it be DESTROYED!!!

The wails of machines | Singing cold harmony | Shifting air upward | Entranced by the breeze | Light pours like blood | Into a cosmic sea | Of stars crystallized | In a frozen symphony

Vegetto kicking you into orbit theme

Huh, that was pretty neat. It really reminded me of the Dragon Quest OST's, and I loved the drums in it. Perhaps a little short for what's supposed to be the climax of the final saga of GT, but, oh well, I liked it.

Now here's another piece of music that I really liked that debuted on Frieza's Second Transformation...

http://www.viddler.com/v/ecdfb123

...And if someone could do me a favor, in addition to saying what they thought of it, if the person has access to the actual FUNI Episode with this music, is it just me, or was it too silent in this transformation? Because I feel like it lost a bit of it's impact because of the low volume.

Has an eery vibe to it but the second half does sound much more comforting in a sense. The woodwind instruments definitely add to it's overall composition.

Here's a favorite of mine - Kami's Theme

It's sounds peaceful and relaxing but also seems to have a sad vibe to it.

Ethereal, yet intense. I like the part when the piano comes in. Overall, the piece seems appropriate for a final battle song.

Pretty catchy. Sounds like something out of a vacation commercial, like the kind that advertise beaches and island resorts.
