Honestly, all of them lmao. I LOVE shirtless Goku though, no homo . My friend once made this doodle of shirtless SSJ3 Goku with the angel wings that he sometimes is depicted in (that one screenshot with King Kai)...looked beast as hell. Against Frieza, Cooler....too cool. His standard one is iconic, never gets old even when has just the blue undershirt when fighting Frieza and firing the Spirit Bomb at Kid Buu. His EoS uniform is also nice, as well as his GT one

Oh wow, it's been... wow, about 14/15 years since I saw that picture.

My parents used to own a misc poster stand and we sold plenty of DB posters. Not "official" of course... It was in Mexico.

Anyway, thanks to that small "family business" I had my walls covered in all kinds of anime posters. Mostly DB, but I also had Sailor Moon, Ranma and Magic Knight Rayearth posters. That picture above... I remembered it clearly because when I asked my father for it he told me: "Nope, you have enough posters". And it drove me crazy because I didn't want to give up the ones that I had. Then, it got sold right away.

I really like Goku during his battle with Freeza, both base and Super Saiyan. That will always be the true Goku for me.

Chichi from the 23rd Tenkaichi Boudukai, Vegeta from the Saiyan arc, Ultimate Gohan and Yamucha from the Pilaf arc are other appearances of characters that I'm particularly fond of.

Young Teen (that's what I call him, because he is 15 years old) Goku all the way up until the Freeza Saga. Especially when he reaches puberty at 18. He actually looks his height, which is somewhere between 5'7 and 5'9. Does Super Saiyan make you taller or something?

If hair counts towards height, then yeah, for Goku at least would. But I don't think that it truly has an effect on height. It may make him appear taller, but I think that's more due to the fact that he is far more imposing, and much more dangerous as a SSJ in the beginning.

That's definitely my favorite Goku outfit. It's such a damn shame that it's used only briefly at the end of the series, and GT even alters it with worse colors (though they're still decent). I wish it had been his entire Boo-arc attire.

I suppose I never fully answered this thread's topic, so I'll post my favorite appearance of Goku himself:

Perhaps it is tied with the quality of the animation, which I find was best from the Daimao-arc through the Freeza-arc, but I think Goku looks the best throughout those episodes. I like kid Goku alright, but I always thought the older Goku's looked cooler, so my favorite appearance for Goku is from the 23rd tournament through the Freeza-arc.

Teen Goku looks awesome, and often has an intense, yet youthful look. Saiyan arc Goku has undergone noticeable aging, and looks firmer and more intense than ever, but still clearly the same Goku we all love. In the Freeza-arc, the style is getting more angular, and I like how he looks with his orange gi top torn off. He also gets some really cool looking battle damage in that fight was well, from when he has half a shirt (which I always compared with a caveman when I was a kid ), to no shirt at all and a completely torn off right pant-leg.

I don't know about his appearance throughout the arc. Namek arc is probably my favourite, I suppose.

But for my favourite panel, I definitely know the one. After he uses the Kaio-ken x3 against Vegeta, the panel where he has that glint in his eye right before attacking. It's so awesome.
