I doubt Buu Arc Kai would cut-out action-packed filler episodes.

Kinda like SSJ2 Goku vs Kid Buu. That episode has some of the best action choreography.

Same applies to SSJ3 Goku vs Gotenks-Buu. Fillers episodes with worthy materials would most probably be left.

If they are gonna leave any fight alone it better be SSJ2 Goku VS Majin Vegeta. If they have to cut anything id see edit down abit of the Goku VS Kid Buu fight, theres just some pieces that really drag on. I do hope the Otherworld Tournament saga is kept in at least.

Yeah, Goku vs. Pure Boo in general is just really needlessly long and thus really boring.

I won't deny it's got good choreography, but that's because I was so bored by the fight that I wasn't paying any attention.

True. While its manga counterpart was genuinely funny, anime fight was disastrous. Gotenks fight lasted for about 6-7 episodes with 10 minutes MAX worth material.

It has been so long since Cell Saga Kai was released. And with still no confirmation from Funimation, I really doubt Buu Saga Kai is coming. I want it more than anything, but I just don't see it happening. If we do not hear anything by early next year, I don't see it happening.

The fact that several voice actors have confirmed it's in production means it's happening. We may not see or hear about it for several months, but it is happening.

It's only natural for those two releases to be dragging on. There's not much of a market for either of them. Most English-speaking countries already have FUNimation's dub of Kai, and Buu Arc Kai is for international markets only, with a straight-to-DVD release in Japan, potentially. I honestly wouldn't be surprised if this were a case similar to the Ultimate Uncut DVDs and FUNimation Level sets... only cancelled before we even get a release.

Buuuuuuut... If I had to place my bets on which will come first, I'd say Buu Saga Kai... Cuz intuition.

Oh geez, this. Gotenks takes too long to get to point in the time chamber (Beyond that Gotenks takes too long to get to the point by his own intent), and the later fighting outside of it just isn't fun to watch and boils down to pure padding and Gotenks taking too much damage from hits that shouldn't phase him. Toei lucked out with how much the two ended up beating each other up.

Trying to think of where else the Buu arc drags, because at 90 episodes there's got a be a lot of it; we don't need Dabura meditating for an episode, and I don't know if Buu deserves a full 20 minutes to come back from his failed suicide either.

Is 3 episodes really that long? The actual Spirit Bomb segment should probably lose an episode worth of run time, and taking an entire episode for Buu to find the Kai planet is silly, but I can only think of so many segments of the actual fight with Kid Buu and the two Sayains that's paddy enough to be cut entirely.

Toei will certainly leave many fillers in the fights of DBZ Kai Buu Saga.

Goku SSJ2 Vs Pure Buu, and most fillers for the fight between Goku SSJ3 and Buu Pure (the fight in the cave).

It's been confirmed by Kuririn, Sabat already hinting 60 some odd episodes, and other actors saying it as well.

God I HATE Gotenks...that single character almost makes the entirety of the Buu saga a complete joke. Every incarnation of Buu except Fat Buu is AWESOME but Gotenks and the whole fusion concept left a very sour taste in my mouth. Also the fact that Gohan is knocked out for a good portion of it is weird (even though I like Vegeta & Goku more). This is from someone who just started watching DBZ when Kai came out on Blu-ray and then watched the orange bricks from after the Cell saga to the end of the series. For some reason I just never got into DBZ when I was a kid in the late 90's even though all my friends couldn't shutup about it. I absolutely adore Kai and the Kikuchi BGMs!

Speaking of music...was it ever unofficially confirmed what were getting for the Buu saga? I want to say they're using a brand new BGM, thought I heard that in another thread on this forum. I would prefer Kikuchi tracks that we haven't heard in Kai yet (mixed in with most of the current Kai BGM's but those should be used very SPARINGLY as they already use the same ones WAY too often).

Also, why was BGM M1311 not used in Kai? They used virtually every other one from Cooler's Revenge, and I would go as far to say the ones from that same movie were used the most often in Kai too.

They will do it in Parts first. With the prices FUNimation sells at they need to do re-releases to start making profit.

I hope so. I like my shelf to look... uniform, if that makes any sense. I like things to match, so I don't want Parts 1-8, then Season 5 & 6. I either want all Parts or all Seasons.

The only time I didn't do this was the Dragon Ball & Dragon Ball Z Movie packs. I wanted them so bad because they match the Season sets, but I love the Steel Books and their appearance more so I just dealt with those being different. But I digress. I hope we get Parts first.
