Androids 19 & 20 stronger than Freeza?

Discussion, generally of an in-universe nature, regarding any aspect of the franchise (including movies, spin-offs, etc.) such as: techniques, character relationships, internal back-history, its universe, and more.

I don't think there's enough evidence for the Androids being weak enough to be at the level where I could accept Piccolo's gains. I don't think I can even accept Piccolo being 25,000,000 at that stage.
I'm re-watching Dragon Ball GT in full on my blog. Check it out if you're interested in my thoughts on the series as I watch through it!

The initial #19 & #20? If so, then no, we don't know that they're stronger than base Saiyans.

So, I assume you have Sick SS Goku below base Goku?

Superman is, and always has been, a symbol for truth, justice, and upstanding moral fortitude–a role model and leader as much as a fighter. The more down-to-earth Goku has no illusions about being responsible for maintaining social order, or for setting some kind of moral example for the entire world. Goku is simply a martial artist who’s devoted his life toward perfecting his fighting skills and other abilities. Though never shy about risking his life to save either one person or the entire world, he just doesn’t believe that the balance of the world rests in any way on his shoulders, and he has no need to shape any part of it in his image. Goku is an idealist, and believes that there is some good in everyone, but he is unconcerned with the big picture of the world…unless it has to do with some kind of fight. Politics, society, law and order don’t have much bearing on his life, but he’s a man who knows right from wrong.

Sick SS Goku was owning #19 before #19 absorbed his Kamehameha.

I don't see base Goku surviving from sick SS Goku's hits. I don't see sick SS Goku to be that weak, especially after Tenshinhan's comment.

Well, Gero has a device like scouter that can read powerlevels also and he tought #19 was capable of absorbing Goku's energy and adding to his own before #19 would run out of energy, so initially the difference in battle power is not that great when we compare SS Goku's standing power and #19 at base. Then, you have Tenshinhan quotes comparing Yadrat SS Goku and Android Saga SS Goku. IMO, there are lots of hints that suggests these androids at base were already stronger than Freeza.

Android #19 (Full Power) > Android Saga SS Goku (Standing power) > Android #19 (At base) > Yadrat Goku (In general) > Freeza (In general)

If you don't think it is, you're interpreting it incorrectly. In fact, Freeza may not have intended to power up to 100%, which tires him out, but rather fight at 70% of his power with the help of Cold.
There's no doubts that the power Mecha Freezer is using against Trunks is much weaker than what a weakened Freezer showed against Goku.
It wasn't fighting at "70%" of his power if he was stronger than before, at best he would fight at 15-20% and that's way too low.

Ten shin han would be surprised even by normal base Goku's power I think. That being said, even if sick SSJ is a bit stronger than base Goku, it's about Freezer we're talking, someone who had much more strenght than that.
