Bulma or Chi Chi?

Discussion, generally of an in-universe nature, regarding any aspect of the franchise (including movies, spin-offs, etc.) such as: techniques, character relationships, internal back-history, its universe, and more.

Bulma treats motherhood and wifehood as just kind of a hobby. Sure, she loves Trunks and probably Vegeta, but it just seems like a matter of course.

Chi-Chi is a devoted mother who wants Gohan to succeed (though she's intensely academic-driven, obviously to compensate for her and her husband's lack of that). She relaxes a bit with Goten, but she's clearly just as devoted. On the other hand, her relationship with her husband is... awkward. She clearly loves and understands Goku, so she doesn't press too many issues unless they involve Gohan, but while they can be outwardly affectionate, it's clear that his marriage only works because Chi-Chi is willing to look the other way that her husband is not even that interested in family life. Not that he doesn't love his family, but he isn't that familiar with the concept.

In fact, similarly, most of the characters in the story have strange families, if any. Bulma's parents are oddballs. Chi-Chi's mother died and her father is a giant who terrorized the land for years. Goku doesn't know his biological parents and accidently killed the guy who raised him for the first few years. Gohan was raised by Goku and Chi-Chi, mostly by the latter. Goten didn't even meet Goku until he came back to life for the tournament. I can only imagine what Trunks' home life was like. Videl's father was the most famous man in the world.

Broken homes, disinterested or overprotective parents, and then there's the characters who were likely abandoned, like Kuririn and Yamucha.

So my answer is Gure.

But he's also a fighter, through and through [...] he fight until he has, in no uncertain terms, beaten his enemy on terms they can both acknowledge. He doesn't want to kill anyone, or even prove that he can win... he just wants to know he can. He's an ineffably charming bastard who's manly leanings were really incendental, and yes, the fact that he was voiced by a squeaky woman made the combination perhaps all the more charming.

Would I want to live with a nagging woman out in the middle of nowhere? No way, give me that sugar mama in the big city!

This, of course, hinges on the Dragon World having marriage equality. But if it's legal anywhere, it's probably legal in West City :D

I would probably go crazy around Chichi. Especially the anime version.

Bulma is the way to go she already has money so thats not a issue.

Just keep her satisfied under the covers and she will be happy.

Pretty sure thats why she had a night with Vegeta.

Bulma! She's way more interesting than Chi-Chi that's for sure. She's always changing outfits and hairstyles. Always creating devices to help her friends and the world. Very flirty and attractive...

Chi-chi is the opposite... I really liked her personality when she was younger but that disappeared as soon as she was reintroduced..
