I think I saw Kei17 saying Dragon Box: The Movies had the best audio for the films but I might've misread that.

Makuuo @ Are the DBZ films on LD in 4x3 or 16x9?
FUNimation 2015 Releases I want:
- Kai 2.0 on Blu-ray

You misread. The Japanese laserdiscs have the uncompressed PCM audio, which is better than Dragon Box: The Movies.

16:9.

Soppa Saiyjins from Dorgou Ballru Zetto is my favorite transformation everah, especially when Trounksoru did it in front of Seru and when Bejita did it when he faced Jingonigen-hachigo. But for real, I use the FUNi pronunciation. - Soppa Saia People

Thanks for the links. That put a smile on my face, I wish I could get a hold of the LD audios for the FUNi 4x3 DBZ singles.

I'm sincerely just so tired of muffled audio and then some people own it with far superior quality, that of course makes me jealous.

Some of the movies on laserdiscs are on ebay now but they are around $45 each.

Here's a quick comparison with the colors. There is something wrong with the youtube video of the laser discs so for the clarity I would not consider it as a good source.

Exactly.

For example the audio of the films on Dragon Box: The Movies seems to be the best out there and I'd have loved to watch the DBZ films with that quality, because some of the 4x3 DBZ film singles got the audio really badly muffled (Bio-Broli) which kind of ruins the enjoyment.
No, that's incorrect. The Japanese laserdiscs have the uncompressed PCM audio (16bit 44.1kHz), so their audio sounds slightly better than Dragon Box: The Movies. Also, in terms of the colours, the laserdiscs are superior, since they have the fresh and less-faded film footage.
From what I was able to find, only the DBZ films were released on Laser Disc as well as the 10th anniversary special.
I don't think any of the Dragon Ball films were released on laser disc, could be wrong.

Yes, that's correct.

The first three Dragon Ball films were only released on VHS, and Dragon Box: The Movies.

They have better video? I thought the FUNimation Dragon Boxes had the exact same video, but with an English dub track and subtitles added.

I believe the JPN Dragon Boxes have a higher bit rate and audio bit rate as well, I think the Japanese ones were at 448khz vs Funimations 96khz which obviously the Japanese version is higher but it's not a HUGE if any audible difference.

Looking at the Laserdisc and DVD the only thing I'm noticing is the colors are darker, where as they're lighter on the laserdisc.
