Agreed.
It's the only dubs in English which I can actually watch from start to finish without pressing that eject disc button. Peter Kelamis as Son was formidable and wish he'd return to play him in
Dragon Ball Kai (although it's been too long to expect it to happen) but it'd be unlikely.
FUNimation 2015 Releases I want:

You can't watch Death Note dubbed? Really cause that puts the ocean movies to shame.

Kimba: The White Lion, Dogtanian and Willy Fog are three series which I'd watch it in English though as for Death Note, I've gotten used to the original cast and I hated the ending of DN.

Ocean's best dub is for Black Lagoon without any question. When a dub surpasses the original language, you know you've done something very right.

To be fair..it wasn't that hard to out do the sub. It's well-done and makes more sense since there are American characters and the accents some of the other characters should have are present.
done. It also fits better as they are actually speaking English

"It means your life is over!"
Is that REALLY a line from Kulilin in the English dub!? That's so out of character. That's the
opposite of how he feels about marriage. I mean, he even has a song called "
The I-Want-to-Get-Married-For-Once Mambo".

I haven't seen those three, but another amazing dub by them is
Mobile Suit Gundam. I just finished it, and for the most part, I was wow-ed throughout.

I've watched all of the dub with subtitles and Kai and the three movies are on par.

You and I disagree on that issue. He's only slightly less bad in the films, otherwise he's awful.

I know that and same goes for Colleen, you praise her and I loathe her annoying voice acting she did for Gohan / Kid Goku heck I'd rather listen to Stephanie's Goku any day over Colleen because she actually makes Son sound legitimately like a kid instead of a high pitched college girl.
But anyhow, that's all right. I don't really want to talk about it anyway.

Well, I don't hear what you hear. She's not any more high pitched than Nadolny, if anything she's a tad deeper. The pitch isn't what's annoying, it's the unnatural cadence, annoying laughter, and raspy delivery.

The laughter... D:
It haunts me every time someone mentions Nadolny's Gokuh. I think it's in episode 14 where she "laughs" up a storm. That right there's a pretty good reason to not watch Funimation's dub. If it wasn't for the two lead roles being so bad, I might've at least given the dub a B- (or a B if the script was slightly more tolerable).

I love Nadlony laugh more than I love Korean Goten laugh. Who by the way got the cutest and laugh ever.

Dogtanian and Willy Fog are two series which I'll never, never be able to watch in English after listening to the original voices.

kaifan is a European, so the latter two I have no clue if they saw America's shores. And Kimba is an old show so that might not be surprising.

I'm Portuguese and I don't even watch shows/films which are dubbed in my language because the voice acting is just so appalling it makes it barely watchable, which is why I prefer to watch it in their original languages.
Sonic X is another one I'd watch in English, as well as
Digimon but given the chance to see it in Japanese with English subs, I'd rather take that option then.

Is there a way for you to watch Hulu or Netflix in your country? If so, Digimon Adventure is on there, Japanese with English subtitles.

If only Dragon Ball could get a brand-new dub with the kind of care Death Note got...

No, I agree. I would definitely enjoy seeing Ocean redo all of Dragon Ball with the respect it deserves.

Oh so it's on Hulu/Netflix I didn't know that, a while ago I googled for "Sonic X subbed 4kids" and nothing really came up. I'll just use a proxy to get around it.

So those shows you watched in French or Spanish or whatever language their original was?
With DB, would also say like many dubs of its time, it's better to turn your anime senses off and watch like a US cartoon and it's fine. Few inconsistencies, but fine.

Ew... From my knowledge, every episode is filled with that kind of dialogue change and added dialogue when characters are off screen. Again, it was for fans of their "reversioning" of Dragon Ball Z, so it's not too surprising. Though, you'd think with Viz getting so much praise for their mostly faithful translation, you'd think they'd've realized it sooner that many fans of the time wanted the show unchanged from the original, and that the show does well without needing to be changed.
