Just because Vegeta went through a bad-guy-to-good-guy development, that doesn't automatically make him not a 2-dimensional character. When he was a villain, the most his character was was a whiner. When he became good, he became a Piccolo-clone.
Going from good to bad is a BIG development, and so what if he's whiney? He's the bad guy. Your critical analysis is absolutely lacking. He's in no way a Piccolo clone.

Your understanding of 2 vs. 3 dimensional characters is also lacking. We know what makes Vegeta tick, he has demons, he has contradictions, and he changes over the course of the series. In what world is that not a 3 dimensional character?
But what significance happened to Chiatzou himself? He never developed as a character, he just went along with whatever Ten decided to do.
Fair enough but you keep making up these rules of writing, and they are wrong.
The biggest truths aren't original. The truth is ketchup. It's Jim Belushi. Its job isn't to blow our minds. It's to be within reach.

Chaozu is definitely the most wasted character in the series. He had a great design and unique fighting abilities, but he got shafted faster than even Yamcha did. Not to mention he lost a lot of his personality quirks once he switched sides.

Kind of a shame, really. I wish DBZ did more with its C-Team.

I hate characters like Chazou so it never bother me. However I do agree that Chazou didn't fit Db
