Why is there such a demand for an "Evil" Goku?

I always thought Raditz filled this role.

Goku even had insecurities about being a Saiyan at this point. We never really saw any other bad guy get under his skin like that.

Technically there was an evil Goku. When Captain Ginyu switches body with him, he's evil and.....Goku. Lol
