Which dbz villain would you want to become a hero?
Re: Which dbz villain would you want to become a hero?
None of them. It's been done now with Tien, Chiaotzu, Piccolo and Vegeta. I don't think i would like to see any more villains become heroes.

If any of them just HAD to be heroes, I suppose I wouldn't mind Raditz becoming good but only for the entirety of the Saiyan Saga, where he ultimately dies in the final battle between The Z-Fighters and Nappa/Vegeta.

Android 16 would be an awesome choice! He would be a perfect Z fighter or a perfect supporter for Goku & co I always loved his techniques. RIP 16 we will never forget yousupercat wrote:Although he wasn't entirely a villain, I think it would have been great to have Android 16 survive the events of the Cell Games and become a permanent member of the Z-Fighters. Although his power would have been trivial against the villains that presented themselves in the Buu arc (with the exclusion of Pui Pui and Yakon), he could have been somewhat useful for tactical purposes. I could also see him taking a courageous stand against Super Buu on the lookout.

Raditz, Captain Ginyu, and Dabra

Haven't we already gotten these in GT? Goku dies, the DBs go away, and the Namekian DBs most likely won't be used again because of the Evil Dragons.

I always side eye the people who say "Now my kids/today's kids can experience what I did as a child!" Nigga, who gives a fuck about your childhood? You're an adult now and it was at least 15 years ago. Let the kids have their own experience instead of picking at a corpse.

A good (or at least "not wanting to kill everybody and blow the planet up") Cell would be interesting, in an alternate-universe sort of thing.
#16 actually showing up again (I don't see why he wouldn't be able to be revived -- nobody ever said you have to have an organic body to have a soul, and he became able to act against his programming, so...) would be pretty neat too, though he was never really a "villain." Sadly he'd be way too weak to help out against anyone post-Cell, though (...well, aside from utterly crushing the weaklings like Pui Pui and Yakon and Freeza's army remnants, anyway.) Maybe there could be somebody weaker than Dabura but much stronger than Yakon on one of the other levels of Babidi's ship that we never saw, and #16 could have a good fight with that one -- Babidi did skip them ahead past several levels rather than having them go through all of them, after all.
Kind of going off on a tangent here, but that's an interesting possibility that I don't think I've ever seen anyone use when it comes to fan characters -- coming up with the other major minions of Babidi. We know there's at least one level between Yakon and Dabura that they skipped over, so there should be at least one "among the strongest in the universe" fighter on board with an M on their head, stronger than Yakon but weaker than Dabura.

No, there was a fighter between Pui Pui and Yakon.Pantalones wrote:Kind of going off on a tangent here, but that's an interesting possibility that I don't think I've ever seen anyone use when it comes to fan characters -- coming up with the other major minions of Babidi. Babidi never said or implied he had someone between Yakon and Dabra.

Nappaaaaaaaaaaaaa!!! But thats mostly due to TFS
Re: Which dbz villain would you want to become a hero?
Definitelty Raditz. I mean he's Goku's brother for Gods sake. it would be a great dynamic between Goku and Raditz if done well.
Tagoma would be cool. Maybe if he actually survived Freeza's attack, he would realize Freeza's a complete asshole and defect to the side of the Z Fighters

Dude, that's genius! Gohan technically has no one to compare power levels to, unless you count Goku and Vegeta.Marco Polo wrote:Cell would definitely be my choice too. A rivalry with Gohan? That's genius! Plus Goku himself never actually defeated Cell, so there would be a sort of teasing aspect to Cell staying alive and training (the same way Goku never actually defeated Vegeta in a duel... although he definitely could).
Cell could also provide some welcome snark and attitude after Piccolo has mellowed out in the Buu Saga and Vegeta has mellowed out in the Beerus Saga.
Majin Buu: So, hotshot, you want to fight Majin Buu?
Gohan: Fight you? No. I want to kill you.
Gohan: Now I'll show you why my little brother looks up to me.
Majin Buu: He doesn't. In fact, he wonders why you let me absorb him.
Future Gohan: You cannot gain without first suffering the pain of loss.
Gohan: 16, you loved life. You gave everything up to save it. And you were just an Android. I let you die...I can't do that...I won't watch anymore. I...I feel it slipping. And I won't watch this anymore!
Goku: Gohan! You've got to take Cell down now before he can regenerate!
Gohan: Take him down now? No, I think I'll wait. I'm going to let him suffer for a little while.

The one villain I would like to see become a hero, would be Baby Vegeta.

Raditz. I want him to be the weak, stubborn uncle. Who usually gets annoyed by Goten and Trunk's antics. And has an awkward moment with Gohan due to him kidnapping him as a kid.
