Is Beerus' existence really necessary?

i often read here that Beerus is not bound to moral standards because he is a god and above all mortal beings and stuff like that. first of all, even the gods in dbz are mortal (beerus, kaioshin...). second, it seems to be just a title, whis said to goku he could be the next and goku was born as a normal saiyan baby. beerus was maybe born a normal cat or something. obviosly if you are one of the most powerful in the universe like beerus or goku you could get the job, and would be free of moral boundries? in my opinion if that would be the case it would just be the right of the strongest, and whoever the strongest is can do whatever he wants.

Exactly. Which is no different from what Frieza does. Yet because of Beerus' title, people consider him neutral, when in reality, apart from his job, he's a jerk who deserves time in HFIL.

i also dont think it's right for kaioshins to be basically born and are allready sure to be a supreme kai one day. in my opinion the most capable should watch over the universe and not the one who was randomly born a kaioshin.

Eh what exact balancing does he do? Say he didn't blow up planets with life on them, how would that be bad? Sure if the planet is full of evil I can see that planet being destroyed so it doesn't cause chaos on other worlds, or bring ruin to other worlds. However what is being balanced when a typically innocent world is destroyed? If there was no evil and a bunch of worlds were created, then what exactly is the problem? Also the Kaioshin haven't seemingly been creating so much in years since Boo wiped them all out, so if anything Beerus will sooner or later destroy more than what is created. On a single planet I can see why too big of a population is a bad thing, so the only thing I can think of is having planets be destroyed if they try to have their population spread to other worlds and then overpopulate those places.

Beerus isn't going to destroy more planets than necessary. As the god of destruction he only destroys what he needs to, most of the time anyway. As I said in my previous post there are issues with there being now souls being reincarnated in the after life. If you check out the manga Spirit Circle it becomes a major plot point. There is a need to have a reserve of souls to be reincarnated. Otherwise there will be issues within the universe.

The issue is because as the universe is based on reincarnation there are only a fixed amount of souls in the universe. What happens if all the souls are reincarnated? Everyone will live to an old age and not have any kids. Then who is supposed have children? Who is supposed to look after the old people when they're old? With our world the amount of children born every year is increasing. What happens when all the old people are dead and their are only young children who can't look after themselves and can't reproduce?

He purposely wakes up every decade or so to destroy a planet or two for the sake of his job. Whis is also around to stop him from doing things outside of his job parameters. Whis brought back Earth after all. So he is going to do the same for planets that aren't needed for Beerus quota of destruction.

i dont like this reincarnation system in dragonball at all. and it just came to me, since just the "hero's" or people who saved their world are allowed to keep their bodies and not be reincarnated, doesnt that mean with every generation, there would be less souls. because if there are a few "hero's" in every generation which will not reincarnate, there will eventually be a few people in the "living world" and a huge bunch of "hero's" in the otherworld.

It does have a bearing on Dragon Ball because it is a possible outcome from having nothing to maintain a healthy reserve of souls to reincarnate.
