What're your problems with his serious Roshi? I find it quite fitting TBH. Not as good as his perverted side but by no means something he can't pull off.

I don't buy it. It's such a silly voice and his acting as that character suffers a lot. It just doesn't work. It has no dramatic weight. Miyauchi is the only actor I've ever truly liked in the role

Same opinion, tbh. I think the performance sounds different in RoF recently as well, and not as good as in DB.

To each their own, but I think the Kai dub falters in a few spots that the DB dub handled better.

That said, it's way, way better than their Z dub in my book- that makes me cringe pre-Buu Saga quite frequently.
