Its really cool that there is a lot of live action dragonball happening right now. Makes me happy to have something interesting to watch. I wasn't too fond of it compared to Light of Hope cause of the differences from the source.. Trunks not having purple hair was pretty distracting... If he can have glowing hair then whats wrong with purple.. Purple can be bleak color right? That's what they were aiming for... Anyways it was a good effort other than annoying stuff like that. Cell without a mouth too?

Finally watched this.

The ending is beautiful. I wonder how Light of Hope will top it.
The rest is okay.

Its always good to see passionate fans like these.
A world without Dragon Ball is just boring.

Favourite old DB Animators: Masaki Sato and Tadayoshi Yamamuro
Favourite new DB Animators: Yuya Takahashi and Chikashi Kubota

I think the same, I can't believe how underrated the last part is though, I've not heard ANYONE say how well they freaking nailed Goku's Character, from all the moody stuff they took from the Cell saga, Goku single handedly brought lighthearted and funny feeling to the whole scene, while still keeping it extremely emotional... If that's not good storytelling, I don't know what is.
There's room for only one snake, and one big boss.

Just saw it. Really cool stuff. I liked that they didn't just do a straight adaptation of the source material. Having no dialog other than Trunks narrating which was later revealed to be Vegeta was pretty cool.

It was a bit melodramatic and over the top. I feel like you almost have to earn that stuff when telling a story and with this they did it right form the jump. Bulma dying was a little meh but the whole story was still cool though. I don't think I've ever seen so much work put into a fan production and for that I give them a ton of credit. In regards to this compared to light of hope. I think light of hope did a better job at getting you to care because they didn't try nearly as hard. I mean Vegeta doesn't need to be giving us poetic, deep, emotional speeches throughout... or at least attempting to. Things like that can be toned down a little.

But overall it was good.

This is an 80s/90s animated all-ages show that was popular amongst kids. It's not some potent super weapon that might fall into the wrong hands that we have to protect from evil.
