Super has more Toriyama involvement and is also "canon", so clearly it's much better just because of that.

To be fair, not entirely. I believe there's one point where Goku rejects his saiyan heritage.
"Dragon Ball once became a thing of the past to me, but after that, I got angry about the live action movie, re-wrote an entire movie script, and now I'm complaining about the quality of the new TV anime. It seems Dragon Ball has grown on me so much that I can't leave it alone." - Akira Toriyama on Dragon Ball Super

GT came up with an adequate plot device for giving Vegeta the token fancy new form.
GT had the courtesy to set itself well after the original story so that it's shortcomings didn't retroactively affect what came before it.
You pretty much just took the words out of my mouth. Although, I have to add the GT had a much more in depth orchestrated soundtrack. Super has good moments but there are a lot of times where the music sounds really cheap.

I also agree with these point which makes GT feel so much better than Super. Even with not advancing the SSJ levels anymore. They actually went back to a previous Saiyan form and built on it from there.

gt had flaws theres no doubt about it but honestly compared to super its much much better goku in gt felt like he grew while in super he's like a parody of himself in gt guys like gohan wasn't getting shitted on as hard as he was in super plus piccolo death in gt had more emotion than any moment than super could possibly have in the future. Imo both super and gt are inferior sequels to z but gt feels like more of a sequel than super.

At least the power inconsistencies in Super feels better then they where in GT in my opinion. We haven't had Goku got scared of a metal fan yet or have his eyes be hurt by glass  . Not to mention Base Goku took no damage from Super Yi Xing Long while SSj4 Goku was getting his ass kicked.

Only because almighty Sorbet's ring gets defended through the power of double standards and Goku in GT gets not. Probably for the same reason Gero's steel door gets defended and GT Goku gets not.

Really, if someone does not like GT that is fine but at least some fairness should be included.

The Star Wars Prequel Trilogy is Canon. To the SW universe, but thanks to The Force Awakens, all the Expanded Universe stuff released before Revenge of the Sith and most of the EU material that came afterwards is explicitly not canon...

Canon isn't always a good thing...

Super has Toriyama being apart of the story, but yet it has references to the retellings of BOG and ROF. Toriyama seem like that he had nothing to do with the retelling of BOG and ROF. Super is just as non canon as GT in my opinion.

In my opinion, Super Chichi is bigger b.tch than GT Pan, she made Goku afraid to return to his own house, and he looked so miserable, it wasnt even funny, if Super RoF had Freeza torture her like he tortured Vegeta, i would forgive everything wrong this saga did

Re: Chi-Chi

What makes it even sadder to me is because this takes place before EoZ, the status quo remains. All I can hope is she gets less mean to Gokû as the series goes on. (She had some compassion for him during the tournament so far at least.) Gokû won't be able to hide away at Beerus' place classmating with Vegeta-senpai forever. (I can't see Bulma being happy with Gokû never going home at night either. She wants some personal time with Vegeta that it looks like Gokû kept butting on on during the latest in-between mini-arc).
On hiatus.

I mean he could have done something with the retellings but we don't know if he did or not. Also he's probably only done the basic plot of where the story will go plus the creation of new characters and is letting Toei and Toyotaro handle the rest. The days of Toriyama writing a DB sequel by himself are long gone.

They're both unwatchable, but Super has made RoF better. Dragon Ball Online left us with a more appealing Earth than the end of GT.

I think i heard somewhere that the retellings were Toriyama's idea.

It was never confirmed if Toriyama had involvement or not in the retellings. But i doubt he had nothing to do with it,those major changes like Goku and Beerus' clash [which was also present in the manga],Champa and Vados' appearance etc was probably his idea.

DB Minus is also canon and I think that's garbage.

Vegeta being the one to train with Whis 1st and reaching Ssjb on his own are also too big for Toie to do on their own.
July 9th 2018 will be remembered as the day Broly became canon.

What makes you say that? Toriyama himself stated in Vol. F, that it was Goku who wanted to train with Whis and Vegeta went along.
The anime has this as the complete opposite, hinting, that it may the anime writers who came up with that and given how much fanboys they are of Vegeta, it seems probable. This little factoid could easily fall under "not important enough plot point to faithfully adapt" and so they may just have said what the hell and used the scenario they preferred.

I don't know how involved he was, but it was his idea for Super to retell the movies.
