- Trunks not being out of character.
- Goku more serious and himself
- Gohan getting in the mix
- Thrilling and intense fights
- Involve android 17
- Involve android 18
- SSJ2 / SSJ3 action
- Violence and blood
- Fusion Goku + Vegeta
- More flashbacks of Future Gohan
- Trunks and Gohan interactions

None of this crap will probably happen though lol.

I am adding a new one based on the Gohan comments:
Make Gohan the first and probably only SSJ to turn SSJ4.
Big Green: Do whateveryoulike, Ghos
Broly: haha He calls me a goohst, but IMMMD DA DEVVVVAAALLL! RAHAHAHAHA!
-----
Trunks: "Dhe computer selffishy intesnafiy dosuementos."
Android 13: Yum Boy
-----
Vegeta: The Legendary Warrior of SpaZe.

That doesn't make any sense.

- Have the hakaishing group (Beerus, Whis, Shampa and Vados) be involved and that their involvement don't take away the tension. Maybe having them have trouble dealing with a treat or something.
- Few involvement of the Omni King.
- An episode about the deities.
- Goku not being dumb for the love of god
- No Monaka
- Future Trunks being useful to solve the problem.
- Future Mai being important to the plot
- The final treat is defeated by the group and not just Goku and/or Vegeta.
Sleeping until the tournament is over.

Chuquita wrote:-Follow through. The lack of follow through was what left me disappointed in the Champa arc. If you're going to hint at something, then follow through and do it (Planet Sadla, what Cabba's king looks like, Piccolo and Buu, etc) don't tease something and drop it.
-A genuinely tragic backstory for Gokû Black.
-Also for Gokû Black to be an actual parallel timeline's Gokû rather than someone who happens to look like him. We already had Tullece.
-Same thing with not wanting something to possess Gokû. We already had Garlic Jr, Babidi, Bebi, and Jelleta do similar things to other characters.
-Don't involve Beerus and Whis right away; their presence takes all the tension out of the room like it did in F.
-Begrudging teamwork between Gokû and Vegeta, but no fusion. Fusion's an easy way out imo and both Vegetto and Gogeta aren't as interesting enough to me at the cost of losing Gokû and Vegeta during a battle.
-Future Trunks meeting all the people he impacted the largest amount of positive change on (Gohan, Kid Trunks, Goten, Videl, Pan.)
-No Monaka.
-New Opening song/animation
-New Ending song/animation
This basically sums up what I want with the addition of good animation/art at the right time.

Vegeta Beatdown after thinking he is the best
Tien does something
Piccolo has a decent fight against a main villain
no new saiyan transformation
not a short arc
less comedic moments advancing the story
Gohan continues to be a nerd
more villains and not just Black Goku
leave earth at some point
group victory at the end

- Better animation;
- Better fights (including choreography);
- Some insert songs like we had in Goku vs. Hit and better music overall;
- More participation from the other character, especially Trunks, since this is "his" arc;
- Some improvement on other characters besides Goku and Vegeta (maybe one of the half-saiyans reaching God level or a new transformation to Piccolo);
- No Monaka saving the day;
- Less jokes, since the arc poses to be more serious;
- Some actual drama/risk. Although I like some of the "slice of life" content in DBS, it's about time we get some real drama and risk in the plot.
successoroffate wrote:Except that Mai is not doing the plot holes any favors. We have to assume the Pilaf Gang screwed up the wish in Future Trunks Timeline as well.
The wish was likely made before the timeline split into many others, so they would only need to screw up the wish once. DBS has its share of plot holes, but I don't think this is one of them.

Adding to what I previously said, I would also like to see Vegeta being the one that gets to finish Goku Black off. I think he's going to be the one the most emotionally invested and concerned about his son's (F. Trunks) and wife's (F. Bulma) safety, especially if F. Bulma is being left alone in the Future timeline while Goku Black is going on a rampage there, As the loving and caring husband he has now become, he'll be really worried about her.

Not to mention that there is no "Future him" in the Future timeline to protect his F. family, so he'll most certainly feel a strong sense of responsibility towards them, as any other sane human-being would (oh wait, he's actually a Saiyan-being, so I guess I should say "as any other insane Saiyan-being would". Oh! Oh! I got a better one! "As any other INSAIYAN would". Ooooooooh... Okay, I'm out -> []).

So, if anyone has to save the day, I think it should be Vegeta as I find it to be the most satisfying and logical choice. Also, seeing a "good Vegeta" defeating an "evil Goku" would make an interesting contrast with the fight between Goku and Vegeta back in the Saiyan saga. I wonder if Vegeta would let Goku Black live like Goku did with him. x') Of course, that is if this fight happens in the first place, hehe.

---

I got episode 20 and 22 mixed up when I was talking about my hopes concerning the art / animation of this upcoming arc. So yeah, I meant to say episode 20 (the one Shimanuki supervised), not 22. And speaking of which, just when I was hoping not to see anymore Tate in this series, BAM! This arc opens up with what seems to be a Tate episode (judging from some new shots featured in the recent DBH trailer). But I gotta admit, the episode doesn't look that bad anyway (because he obsviously got more time to make the episode look more refined given the fact that this is a "plot episode"), so I guess I'm fine with it.

Just so you know Tate isn't going anywhere with Dragon Ball Super. He's still the best animator available.

I'm not saying he's not a good animator, I just find his modern "gummy-gummy" / "One Piece-esque" animation-style not fitting with Dragon Ball at all. I liked the Tate of the old days better. And that's just my own subjective opinion, I know there are some people that are very satisfied and happy with his work in Super.

Hm how do I put this.. we all saw the previews yes? Then all I want is for the whole arc to be as it is advertised in the preview, simple as that. Darker and more tense.
