Vegeta vs Black Round 2: Does Veggie have a chance?

I think it's because Vegeta tends to go down in flames, while the two times Goku lost in Super he literally got cheated like Sorbet's laser and Frost poisoning him. He only got a humiliating defeat by Beerus first round. He gave up on Hit on his terms after giving one of the best fights in the series and he double teamed by Black and Zamasu, and the former is an immortal.

As for U6, I barely count Frost as a win for Vegeta since Goku and Piccolo beat him up, and would have won. He only really fought Magetta and Cabba straight, and Goku could have beating them both if Frost didn't cheat him.

And Vegeta getting cheapshotted by Black doesn't count? Oh please you can't dismiss his victories because "other people" could have done it. Guess what they didn't he did, those victories count for him. Also being cheapshotted by a random laser is much much worse then anything Vegeta had done to him, Freeza had to blow up the entire planet to get rid of Vegeta for crying out loud.

And don't try and spin the double team thing in favour for Goku if it were the other way around you'd spin it to make it look like "Vegeta gets owned doubly but not only the seemingly invincible Black but an immortal God".

Given what has happened to other characters fans should be appreciate of the role Vegeta has in modern DB and not moaning left and right.

He's bloody back for this rematch and has a whole (or part) episode dedicated to him upcoming and you had people literally crying at the end of 56, throwing dumb meme's around to fit their "Toriyama hates Vegeta" agenda, it's things like that from his spoiled fanbase, that make me glad he didn't kill Freeza and I hope he doesn't kill Black or Zamasu.

Black is stronger than Vegeta. He didn't need a cheap shot to win unlike Freeza and Frost. And it wasn't outside inference either. Also, Vegeta beating a weakened, tired Freeza and still messing up by allowing him to blow up the planet and kill him is just as humiliating as Goku getting laser.

And those wins in U6 still aren't special since Goku could have done the same thing. You can't really say that with Hit if Goku fought first and Vegeta went second.

Well in general Goku has three wins in super. Botamo, Trunks, and Copy Vegeta

Vegeta has Frost, Magetta, Cabba, Tagomanyu, Golden Frieza, and Future Trunks.

Goku has kaioken as a flashy moment.

Vegeta has his fight with Beerus, Golden Frieza, tournament Arc, future Trunks.

Goku has 3 humiliation moments. Beerus vs ssj3, Ssj1 vs Frost, Ssjblue vs Black.

Vegeta has ssjblue vs Hit, ssjblue vs Black.

Yeah.......as I always say Super shows no love for Goku and provides constant character development and spotlight to vegeta.

Vegeta didn't beat Golden Freeza since he got killed when the Earth blew up and was only saved by Whis time rewind and Goku killing Freeza. So the kill goes to Goku.

Vegeta also got his ass kicked by Beerus even after raging out.

Toriyama should give the z fighters and especially Vegeta new techniques. Wtf, besides kaio ken ( don't know if its Akira or Toei) we have nothing new in this arc.

DB is not about techniques. Is about guts answer yelling. We need separate transformation trees for these 2

Look if powerlevels are equal it all comes down to technique. Goku has IT and IT +kamehameha and kaio ken plus the spirit bomb. Those are very handy in combat.

Vegeta it is just all about power level.

The kill goes to Goku but since Whis rewinded time to before Freeza killed him, the defeat goes to Vegeta, especially in Super where Freeza completely destroyed Goku during their fight and was barely touched.

I honestly think he'll do far better, considering just how quickly he got taken out last time. I doubt he's going to beat Black single-handedly, given we have 3 characters all trying to defeat him, but he's definitely going to play an important role. Why else would they keep focusing on him? Like that scene of him training in Episode 59. It was too short to be seen as pure filler.

Even just looking at this cynically, he's not a good Worf if he literally keeps getting non-stop losses. That's what happened to Yamcha, and that's why he stopped working as one. Vegeta has to do something to show his competence this arc, or it won't be a shock to see him fail.

Also, yes, Bulma seems to be spectating this battle, and if Vegeta is anything this arc, it's "the guy who really cares about his family", so there might be a repeat of the 'My Bulma' scene. Or something like it.

It was a flashy Vegeta moment.
Goku was humiliated+his victory kamehameha was thanks to Whis.

Vegeta in general gets the better animation moments and I don't see how can someone consider fair the fact that in the anime Vegeta has more screen time. Also why people complain about Vegeta? Compare to the original manga where vegeta was treated like a bad guy until kid buu vs goku and basically he was goku fodder, here he is like am unstoppable screen time machine. He might loses but always leaves an impact.
