Why do you have problem with Vegeta being stronger than SSJ3 Gotenks in base form, since his base is really post to be as strong as SSG.

Maybe because a base form Vegeta or Goku being stronger than a SSJ3 FUSION is absolutely fucking stupid.

Also, Cipher's totally right. It's not in Toriyama's outline, so it's not canon.

Because in the movies that Toriyama personally wrote and had involvement with, if you want to talk about 'canon', Goku fought Beerus in his base form and got several powerful hits in, while Super Saiyan 3 Goku couldn't even touch him and got two-shotted. And in Resurrection 'F', base form Goku was much stronger than true form Freeza, despite first form Freeza being so powerful that no one outside of Goku and Vegeta stood a chance against him.

So even in Toriyama's 'canon', Goku and Vegeta's base would be stronger than Super Saiyan 3 Gotenks. I also find it weird how people use the 'canon' argument around here to shield them from things they don't like. Especially when no one seen the freaking outline.
