How would you rewrite Dragon Ball Super?

I would like to see Gohan's academic work figure into the story somehow, maybe to where he's working with the Briefs studying Ki energy for more practical uses.

I dunno, I just think that it's so weird that there's these scientists and scholars know that magic energy and the afterlife actually exists and do absolutely nothing to pursue that further.

In addition to what I said about the anime, I would like a longer and more fleshed out manga.

My sister had a pretty good suggestion; Make Zamasu take GOHAN's body.

That way it's more traumatic for Trunks
Gohan's limitless potential is showcased and fans get to see a 'serious business' Gohan.
Goku can show his caring side by wanting revenge for his now dead son, which would feel more concrete than that bit about wanting revenge for Goten and Chi-Chi since he can clearly see Gohan's bodies been taken. Hell, he could have even used that to still kill Chi-Chi and Goten AND assassinate the Goku of that timeline.
Gohan haters can watch Gohan get smacked around by Goku and Vegeta.
Gohan lovers can see Gohan's actually got a lot of badass potential.
Piccolo may even come along as a result wanting revenge for Gohan.

I actually really like the idea. What're your opinions? Would you have preferred it this way, or were you satisfied with Black being Goku?

My rewrite of Super includes the following
1.Put more of an emphasis on Majin Boo being a major player in the story, and not falling asleep all the time
2.Take Freeza completely out of the story as he shouldn't be there at all. He ran his course in Dragon Ball Z and when Trunks cleaved him in two and blew him to smithereens it was glorious.
3.Don't end Goku Black arc so abruptly and horribly.
4.NO TOURNAMENTS! Dragon Ball outgrew tournaments years ago and Toriyama knew this.

Never mess up with Beerus after BoG. Beerus killed the entire story.

Give all characters a chance to boost up, ignoring the status quo. They should go *even*, I don't mind if Vegeta is a Sayan, let's Yamcha meet a God and learn how to fight on par with Vegeta. And have them clash.

Make characters look cooler now. Piccolo design is older than me.

Create a long lasting enemy like Zamasu for the entirety of the series to give characters a goal and some plot to follow.

That will suffice.
