If they don't want their universe destroyed, sure.

Toriyama has no excuse to not have them all train. They better get at least 2 months training before the tournament starts.GodVegetto91 wrote:If they don't want their universe destroyed, sure.

Unlike the writers of Naruto, Bleach and One Piece, Toriyama has never cared about the whole group continuing to improve or having his characters being logical and take advantage of their training options, take for instance the training time-skip in the Android Saga would've it made more sense for Krillin, Yamcha, Tien and Chiaotzu to train as a group, have them ask Kami teleport them over to Other World, travel down Snake Way to North Kai's planet and spend the next 2 and half years there, training in x10 gravity(w/ weighted clothing which North Kai with his magic could probably continue to increase the weight of) for over 2 years and learning Kaioken would've been more beneficial, then training alone on Earth and learning nothing new. Another example is that after the Majin Buu Saga, Tien could ask Bulma to build a small building with a gravity generator on his farm property somewhere and having Tien and Chiaotzu gravity train like Vegeta does and of course Krillin and Yamcha could come over to use it whenever they want.namekiansaiyan wrote:Toriyama has no excuse to not have them all train. You guys do know that the tournament starts on episode 75? and episode 73 and 74 are saiyaman episodes.
And they will just fight people on their level.

The new arc will start on February 5, 2017, which would be the 77th episode of Super; not the 75th. However, the first episode of the arc won't necessarily be the start of the tournament.ChaosLordBrandon wrote:You guys do know that the tournament starts on episode 75? and episode 73 and 74 are saiyaman episodes.
If we're going to get training episodes, it will most likely be couple episodes after the first episode of the arc.

I'd love for them to train with whis! I think that's necessary given the stakes.
My only problem would be if they pulled some Tagoma crap. Getting the tar beat out of you making you go from Zarbon level to Buu level or something stupid like that..

Oh, thanks for the correction. I thought episode 75 will be the episode where the new arc starts.Khin wrote:The new arc will start on February 5, 2017, which would be the 77th episode of Super; not the 75th. They should all train with Whis. No reason why God ki should be a full saiyan trait. Seeing Tien as a formidable character when it comes to strength and technique again will give me life.
Disclaimer: I might get into a disagreement with you. Sometimes I might even get feisty about it. I'll never harbor negative feelings because of it though. I hope you feel the same way!Jinzoningen MULE wrote: Maybe I should start making it a point not to comment when I'm not sure of something. Too many people know what they're talking about around here.
I made a bet with Alee9977 that Vegeta won't be beaten quickly by an opponent. If I lose, I switch my avatar to Vegeta getting beat by hit. If I win, he switches it to Vegeta holding Black by his hair. This will last a month.
Re: Should everyone be trained by Whis for the tournament?
It won't happen. The universe being at stake part will be something they learn the day of the tourny. The likely case is not everyone is god level, but even with that there is a good chance everyone not named Goku, Vegeta, and maybe Gohan get the PIccolo treatment at best. If it does go down like that, it will be salt fallout.
Re: Should everyone be trained by whis for the tournament?
Only the dead are allowed the train under King Kai. It isn't something that can be done willy-nilly. Goku only gets a pass because he literally teleports himself to the planet without permission, King Kai rarely wants him there, and he used it as a work out gym. Also Yamcha, Tien, Chiaotzu already spent months there before they were revived with the Namekian Dragon Balls. Tien and Chiaotzu specifically stood dead for almost a year and they were on King Kai's planet the entire time.Zeru14 wrote:

Gravity training also has its limits. You noticed that despite always training in high gravity, Vegeta never got vastly stronger after becoming a Super Saiyan. Goku surpassed him just by training in 10x compared to Vegeta's 150-300x gravity training.
