Whether it's Episode #66 or Episode #69, Dragon Ball Super is a series created by Hatano Morio, freelance writers, and the various in-house and freelance animators. Distinguishing between the two is extremely silly. One isn't any more 'real' than the other because ultimately Toriyama Akira has no hand in the series at all.

My favorite one was probably the baseball one since it involved most of the major characters that we didn't see that much of during the Future Trunks arc and some of the Universe 6 guys.

I don't think Toriyama has written the "fillers", either.
He did help with some of it. Regardless, filler has nothing to do with who wrote what, filler is material that only exists to fill time, and doesn't connect with the main narrative. I don't know why the anime community has twisted the definition so much over the years.

I've seen every episode of this franchise to date, I'm not going to stop now.

Your reasoning for liking that episode is probably the same for most people and the exact reason why many of us are excited for the Universal Survival arc.

Do you have any source for this? I thought Toriyama was giving the main script lol

Look at the credits. Toriyama neither writes nor storyboards for the series. This cartoon is the product of others' labor first and foremost, even if nased on some ideas from Toriyama.

At this point Super is either all filler or has no filler, whatever you want to call it.

Adding the tag "filler" literally offers nothing in super. Especially since these "filler" episodes contain bits of actual plot development.
People who watched the 2 Hit episodes know how important they were to the overall story. Heck this Saiyaman Arc might end up be the reason gohan enters the universal tournament.

Sure but aren't ideas the most important? Rest is polish really.

No, especially when it takes even more ideas to execute the few basic ideas lent by Toriyama.

I honestly wouldn't know how much Toriyama is involved, but if you have sources/interviews that can be informative I'd gladly read a link lol :)

Why does Toriyama's involvement matter? DBS is DBS regardless, and functions as a whole independently of Toriyama.

I don't want the fillers to end. They're very entertaining and the characterization is better. And I wonder why Super didn't write the characters like this from the beginning, there wouldn't be much complaints if they did it.

I'll take notice of the writers of the episodes I liked to know the probability of the future episodes being good or not (at least to me).

Let's hope it continues to extend into the new arc.
