I'm considering just reading the manga.

1) This thread is silly and pointless. There was no reason for you to make an announcement thread to announce that you want to drop Super. Just do it and move on. It's not serious enough to warrant an entire thread. It's a children's cartoon. I highly doubt anyone was pressuring you to like it.

2) The manga would never fly as an actual series. It's not detailed enough for that to work. It has skipped and blitzed through a lot of stuff.

- The BoG arc was trash as far as storytelling goes. It was nothing more than a collection of plot points. There was little to no development for anything.

- The ROF arc is nonexistent.

- The Champa arc had the same problems I mentioned before. There was no real storytelling and little development.
Goku and Vegeta started off with SSJB with no real explanation as to how they attained it, for example.
The fight with Hit was a mess.

3) You complain about illogical power scaling but in the manga, 1000 tons was too much for SsJ Vegeta.

You complain about lousy characterisation in the anime, but the manga barely has any to begin with.

The double standards are ridiculous.

The manga is worse than the anime in my eyes and people only seem to like it so much because they want to oppose the anime.

Wow what a pointless thread is this

can we enjoy both versions of DBS.The manga may have good artwork, amazing fighting choreography, goku characterization is great and is simple and grounded but at a cost of rushed pacing,odd power scaling and zamasu/goku black motivation is so underdeveloped regardless I enjoy both versions of DBS like what Lord beerus said the manga would feel so half baked without the anime and both versions could compliments very well by cancelling out there weakness

sometimes I fell like I'm the only person who enjoys both versions.

You're not the only one friend, i feel the same way.

I feel like both mediums complement each other, and the best way to experience super is to go through both the anime and the manga.

This guy's get it and I agree the best way to experience DBS is watching the anime and reading the manga through I enjoyed the anime more than the manga is not that I hate the manga but the anime is more entertaining and is way ahead to the manga. Regardless I'm still going to read the manga just to see the difference between the anime and manga for ft arc, I'm excited for this month chapter
