Now that is just irresponsible, you dont let kids play that kind of game till they're 18+, kids get easily influenced by what they see on TV and the games they play.
Sorry, but I completely disagree. I've been raised with the most violent of games and I turned out fine. Kids can seperate reality from fiction. Did Dragonball ever make you want to go out and beat people up ?
But that's you, just because your experience turned out one way doesnt mean it will for everyone. Age restrictions are there for a reason and Dragon Ball is a completely non example compared to a video game of a character you're controlling. Especially when DBZ portrayed Goku as a righteous hero type he wasn't exactly going around beating random people up just 'cuz.

Most, if not all my gamer friends were raised with similar videogames and they turned out fine. Cod is known for having a young audience also. It's not just me. Kids can tell the difference between reality and fiction quite well. The ones who can't are already more likely to be a killer regardless of the media that they are consuming. Also, Goku's not the only character in DBZ last time I checked.

Disclaimer: I might get into a disagreement with you. Sometimes I might even get feisty about it. I'll never harbor negative feelings because of it though. I hope you feel the same way!
I made a bet with Alee9977 that Vegeta won't be beaten quickly by an opponent. If I lose, I switch my avatar to Vegeta getting beat by hit. If I win, he switches it to Vegeta holding Black by his hair. This will last a month.

Growing up fiction and reality was easily distinguishable for me, can't say the same for many kids I knew though..

Not a good example of fiction or gaming but entertainment nonetheless, WWF was a big thing that time, and boy was that a sight to see, so many kids trying to use deadly moves on each other from behind, while they weren't suspecting anything..

This is just one example, seen a kid trying to fight a dog by showing some rolling moves..
Even this thread is a good example how some kids take things too far..

That being said, thats why they are kids it's the parents job to tell them how stuff works instead of shagging around and throwing kids in a separate room form birth
The Lord moves in mysterious ways but you don't have to. Please use your blinker

Aaand that's why you got the mass shootings. Just saying.
I bet you think call of duty leads to mass shootings too.
All kids play CoD here. No gun culture, though. No mass shootings either. Games don't make people violent. Access does.
