You're right, I'm not denying it was green in the first movie, because it was, but it was a very pale green except when he had his aura up, then it was gold at the end, and the second and third movies. It didn't become that vivid darker green like it is now (and like the new girl's) until it was used in merchandising and video games. But I could be wrong about that: the first Broly movie had a sickly looking color palette during the big fight on New Vegeta. Besides, I'm sure the unique hair color is better for moving action figures compared to another gold Super Saiyan.Lord Frieza wrote: About the hair colour, it was green (edit the lime green a joke)...with maybe some gold tints is some shots.
...
it then turned back to Gold and stayed that way in the second film. Although in the movie LSS Broly's hair is a noticeably different shade to to other SS forms.
...
But has been changed back to green for every other appearance in other media.
...
Please note that I'm not saying you or anyone else is wrong, its juts that I'm not feeling it but you could be more then right. Either way my Jiren will crush the filthy monkey so what do I care.

If I may interject (first post Yay)
I personally believe Toei is tossing this curve ball. while signs point to a redesign the change is too massive in my opinion. I believe the Female Brolly is from Universe 11 since her clothing colors matches that of the Pride Troopers, plus it is one of the strongest Universes.
however, I won't disregard that she might have gotten a complete redesign overhaul and we may only get one female saiyan, which is the most logical thing that happened.

So last episode a female Saiyan with unbelievable potential is touted and people still think she could be from U11.Guntank wrote:If I may interject (first post Yay)

They show screen caps of the intro transformation in her magazine reveal. It's her.

Last episode only stated that Caulifla had a potential greater than Renso though.
regardless we'll find out more soon.

Cool I wonder if they will also update her Brolly design.MKCSTEALTH wrote:http://m.imgur.com/q6O3BT4

She could change her clothes later on. Having her from U11 makes no sense given that we know so far that Saiyans only exist in U6 an U7 (Gowasu and Zamasu was unaware of them).Big Black Saiyan wrote:If a redesign she would be different in the intro. Khai from U11 didn't know what Super Saiyans were either, and Toppo seemed intrigued about their ability to transform.Hellspawn28 wrote:She could change her clothes later on. Watching the episode again, I'm not so sure we'll get any more Saiyans unless Caulifla has someone strong kicking around in her posse. Cabba said Renso was the one person he could go to for something this important, and Renso gave him the redirect to Caulifla. It doesn't really sound like he has anyone else in mind, unfortunately.
Re: So about Caulifla
Well, there is some evidence suggesting they might not be one and the same. Broly girl uses lipsitck and earrings, this girl doesn't seem like she likes that stort of stuff. The hairstyle is also quite different. Still, there's nothing conclusive, she might be one and the same.

Maybe she is similar to Lunch with two different personalities, and only the timid and shy personality can transform into Broly, that would be interesting.

This is a slight misconception. A Saiyan can change or style their hair, however it will always grow back to the Saiyan length.Lord Frieza wrote:Well one thing that dose make me think Caulifla is not out Legendery Super Saiyan is her hair. Cauli's hair is spikey like a SS's while in the promo the female saiyan's hair is more limp and not spiked.
A true saiyans hair dose not change from the day they are born, as far as we know that fact still applies to the U6 saiyans to. With that in mind pulse what others have pointed out I say.....
CAULIFLA YOUR POWER IS NOT MAXIMUM!!!
That picture posted of Goku in the business outfit is a good example.

Vegeta had bangs as a child in both the anime and manga versions of BoG (not in the movie for some reason). Plus there's the fact that her brother Renso has his hair pulled back in a ponytail in the same scene. I checked the manga to see what Vegeta says about Saiyan hair, and in the viz version he just says that Saiyans don't have to worry about obnoxious hair growth.GodKaio-Ken wrote:This is a slight misconception. It really bothers me how people are saying they think that a design has been thrown out, can people not just wait and see if these are actually the same character or if Caulifla changes her outfit?
The text doesn't specify that the female saiyan in the opening is the same character.MKCSTEALTH wrote:http://m.imgur.com/q6O3BT4

Her personality also seems to have changed, so it's either a new character design, or she changes personalities like Lunch.ArchedThunder wrote:It really bothers me how people are saying they think that a design has been thrown out, can people not just wait and see if these are actually the same character or if Caulifla changes her outfit?
Re: So about Caulifla
Looks like herms posted something interesting about the female Saiyan. so we might get two female Saiyans from universe 6 ?

He does state it is a rough draft for the female Saiyan called Kale

Re: So about Caulifla
It looks like we have two females and I assume Kale is the fem-broly. I wonder if Caulifla is U6's Gohan due to Renzos use of the word potential.

Re: So about Caulifla
Actually, I'm still on the train for Cauli being "Fem Broly". Anyone care to hear me out?
Subversive tactics. In an attempt to destroy U7, the other universes may work together by sharing powerful fighters. Perhaps this female saiyan is sent to U11 because she's stronger than some of the lower level warriors there and everyone else knows that U11 has some of the strongest contenders. So, why not group them up into one universe to guarantee it's continued existence?
As for WHY they would be willing to do it instead of keep the fighters for themselves, I have an answer for that. Think of it as a "I'll scratch your back if you scratch mine" situation. "You take my best fighter but in return, use your wish/wishes to bring us back and let U7 stay gone!"
As such, the female saiyan would be sent to U11 to participate. In the scene where we see her with the U11 fighters, she does seem serious. Not frightened at all.
However, if no one else has noticed yet, she looks quite a bit like a U6 saiyan. The giveaways are the spiked hair, black eyes and Japanese inspired outfit. I do believe that's a tube top and hakama she's wearing. So they're going to want to disguise her a bit. Make her look different from U6 saiyans so that their secret won't be given away right from the start.
However, once she's on the battlefield and sees just how many powerful enemies are there, her "i'm strong and i'll break you!" attitude begins to falter. Can she really take these guys on like this? As the facade crumbles and her mental state shifts to one of desperation, her form is triggered and in an explosion of muscle and power, "Fem Broly" appears. This however, blows the secret wide open.
And there you have it. We do know that the initial super saiyan transformations work this way, so it's not a stretch. Combine my theory with the magazine scan showing Cauli to be "Fem Broly" and there you go.

Also champa has no reasons to send his best fighters to another universe especially where his is on the line.
Not to mention where he told cabba he wanted more saiyans especially one stronger than him.
Re: So about Caulifla
Something tells me she will have a grudge against Cabba.
I can already hear this - "Cabba....!" "CABBAAAAAA!!!"
