Goku's excitement to meet and train Uub is starting make a little less sense

The ending still works for me. I hope the next DB sequel has the balls to do what GT didn't, make Oob the main character. Yeah, it's a risk, but that was what Toriyama left for the future, it should be respected. Well handled, it could work. We got more Goku and the rest in Super, but it's a midquel, it's totally fine.

Making Goku a kid again was the worst of GT, in a wide sea of bad things. Sorry GT fans, I'm not.

I prefer EoZ as an ending just fine tbh, wouldn't want to see post EoZ explored, I am sucker for "adventure continues" type ending and it really works for DB.

You realize they could continue the story post endofz easily, and eventually "end" the series again with another "adventure continues" type ending just as easily.

Of course they can continue but I don't want them too and a similar ending would not have the same effect as it does in EoZ, Goku going off and training Uub is the perfect closing point for his character, unlike GT where it tries to replicate the ending and misses the entire point by having Goku go off and train, Goku's journey came fill closure when he went off to train someome else not himself, GT ending totally f**cked that up.

It won't be and there's no need for that, it already makes sense.

it makes no sense, super should've just came after a timeskip with goku and uub where they come back then introduce beerus and go from there. Saiyans maintain their fighting strength for 80 years so everyone would be stronger and trunks and goten would be in thier primes. Who cares about the humans
