Dragon Ball fans need to accept the fact that Dragon Ball is a kids comic that's not meant to be taken seriously and so it won't always make perfect sense, and any new power or transformation that's presented as being the ultimate transformation will inevitably be surpassed later on.

Dragon Ball was nothing like Batman to say Freeza was its Joker. Freeza wasn't the first or even 5th main villain Goku fought, and after he was dead, things just kept moving on as usual. Freeza was nothing special in the original manga, unlike Joker.
Did the joker not died in his first story, but came back because of the editor?.

And hello everyone my first post nice to meet ya :D

i think that's what makes frieza and joker similar, they came back because of popularity and their personality are pretty similar, i'm excitet to see what Toriyama does with him.

I have no issue with Freeza being around if he's written like he was in the tournament of power, but the way he was handled in Broly was honestly unacceptable.

Speaking of the Joker, the whole boom for his character didn't truly come until decades after he was first brought back in the Golden Age. People forget that there was a looong period when the character was hardly used at all. Even then, when he finally started reappearing, he was still overshadowed by other villains like the Riddler and it took a while to fully establish him as Batman's ultimate arch-nemesis.

Frieza is quite similar to the Clown Prince of Crime in that regard. He originally appeared in a highly acclaimed story, was seemingly killed off at the end only to come back shortly after. Then he was mostly discarded for years, until he eventually made a grand return that has lauded him as Goku's #UltimateEnemy.
